Just how much does Clomid sway??

So much that you would consider taking it just for a month or two if you didn't need it? :think:

I would take it in a heartbeat if I could get my grubby little mitts on it. It's really a pretty safe drug and I do believe it sways both pink and twin which I would be up for.

The prob. with knowing how much it sways is that most people who are given Clomid have underlying medical issues that sway to begin with, so it's hard to know what is really going on. Many people on Clomid are also given supplemental estrogen and other drugs as well and are told to do and use things that may sway blue. I personally believe it sways a lot "pinker" than the statistics seem to show because of this.

Do know that if you are over 35, it prob. won't work for you.

Why wouldnt it work over 35?

Because the way it works is dependent on your levels of FSH which start to go up after 35, and this makes it ineffective. Plus, since older women are lower in estrogen anyway, it tends to make a much worse lining than it does in younger ladies.

A lot of people's docs still prescribe it for them anyway, but it might be better to try Femara or the injectibles if you are having trouble conceiving over 35 rather than waste 6 months of your limited fertility window, trying Clomid only to have it not work.

Hmm. Good to know. I am 35. I have not had any trouble conceiving - haven't even tried in 5 years! I was thinking more of using the clomid to sway twins and pink.

I would try it at 35, the worst that happens is it doesn't stimulate ovulation and you don't get pg.

I hope you are going thru your doc rather than the I-net because they sell a lot of bogus and dangerous drugs online.
