So we put ttc on hold for a few months due to a few reasons. Now it is mango season and DH loves them. Of course this article just came out. Regulation of the sperm calcium channel CatSper by endogenous steroids and plant triterpenoids (http://www.pnas.org/content/114/22/5743.full) showing. He eats them by the boatload so he probably does ingest a decent amount of lupeol although Im not sure how much is needed. Has anyone had a successful blue sway with a mango eater? We already had a low sperm count show up on an OTC test. I was banking on motility making up for the lowered counts but now even if we get them there they might not be activated. Any thoughts?

I have read about this idea before - I would personally not postpone for something like this. There are a lot of good things in mangoes that would also help a blue sway - vitamins and other nutrients - and all this is entirely theoretical, we do not know how or even if it would sway anyway.
I would actually be far more worried about him NOT eating other things instead of mangos. If he's filling up on low fat, low protein mangoes instead of eating meat and animal fat that may affect a blue sway negatively.
Is there any way he can just keep it to like 1-2 a day?
