Hi, wondering if anyone else has had an early scan where it shows baby with legs out straight not curled up? The lady doing it isn't medically trained but she laughed and said oh look baby is stretched out, they are usually curled up.
So now I'm worrying a bit if its ok?
Baby was upside down and when she first scanned all we could see was the top of the head and then the legs stretched out beyond that so was in an awkward direction.
Has anyone seen a baby so young not curled up?

If anything I think it shows your baby is very advanced to be already kicking out their legs. Trust me f there was any concern the scan lady wouldn't have laughed (and even if they are not medically trained they are taught to identify anomalies and report them). I know it's hard after a loss but your baby sounds like they are doing very well. Congrats!

I think it's fine! I remember DS1 was kicking his legs and wiggling his toes at the 10 week ultrasound. We were all laughing about it. lol To this day he's still one very active child! Congratulations on your little one!

It is common especially in younger babies because they have more room to maneuver!!

Hello, Honey. I hope you are fine and your baby is fine too. I don't think that you need to worry about anything. The baby's legs can be straight or curled up. But you need to be sure and ask an expert. You can have a scan by a professional doctor to be sure. But until then don't be worry, This may affect your baby and you don't want this happen. I hope the scan results will be fine.
