It's always taken me a while to get pregnant and this time is no different.
I had a miscarriage about 6 months ago and have been TTC ever since. Always use Sylk and was using Rephresh, etc. Now I've dropped everything except the Sylk.
I don't really do the diet very well. I try, but I suck at it.:( I have switched to Diet Coke from regular though so hopefully that will make me more acidic and make me lose a few pounds.
Is there anything else I can do to increase the chances of conceiving without swaying blue? I'm considering buying Preseed but I worry about the high pH, so I'm not sure I'm ready for that. Plus, I did get pregnant with Sylk once so I know it can be done.
I'm at a loss. I can't figure out what else I could do to increase my chances.... :(

What about the French Gender diet? Can you try that? It is not that hard to follow and studied success with it. Maybe that is worth a shot.

I think I'm going to get on board with the LE Diet starting now. I'll only be on it for 3 weeks by the time I ovulate, but it's better than nothing. Plus I probably won't get pregnant this month. :/ As hard as it may be, I just really, really believe in it. And it's actually easy compared to the IG diet so i should quit complaining!! LOL
As far as actually concieving, any tips on that? Last month tried to do the Sperm Meets Edd plan and still didn't get pregnant. We didn't follow it exactly though. This month I plan to wait and not BD really at all until a positive OPK. I noticed if we start BDing days before a positive OPK that by the time it turns positive we are tired of BDing. We don't DTD a whole lot as it is because he has a chronic condition and gets up at 4am for work and we are just both too tired. So, I think waiting until a pos OPK will be beneficial because then we can BD a few times duing that fertile period instead of just once or twice. LOL
Any other suggestions are appreciated! :)

I would keep up with the Sperm Meets Egg plan, tweaking it as you describe because that sounds ideal to me, and def switch from IG to either FGD or LE, both are much better for conception and easier to stick to.
If you got pg once with Sylk, you can keep it up. Something you ~might~ want to try that people will disapprove of is adding Robitussin/Mucinex around O. So you would keep drinking Diet Coke and do some kind of diet and keep using Sylk, but just pretend you're swaying blue and take a hit of Robi/Muci. This will help you make some CM, which will be more acidic due to the Diet Coke and diet, plus you'll still have the Sylk working for you.
My thinking is, if you can't get pg, you have no shot at your DG.

Thanks Atomic :)
I forgot to mention that i also take Zyrtec daily for allergies and have since my second son was a baby. It doesn't dry me up too bad, though actually, so I do still get some EWCM.

Some is ok and in fact you need some to conceive at all. FX and TX that this is gonna be your month.

I think because IG makes you lose too much weight which in turn makes you stop ovulating.

They are both less restrictive than IG diet is. Because neither FGD or LE are trying to alter pH, they include a lot of healthy foods that IG does not include because they are "alkalinizing."
