Hi! I've been missing ya and glad to hear all is well.
I think you're right about the weight loss, whatever you can do to get the weight off FIRST and then at that point if you want to try and lose muscle you can consider it then, or not. Can you go totally vegetarian or is that not allowed on the diet??
OrthoTriCyclen does have estrogen but at the same time it's anti-androgenic which means it will help lower T at the same time. It's also said that BCP can "quiet down" your ovaries and that would also tend to sway pink by slightly reducing fertility, then when you go off it your body will take a month or two to normalize and during that time is when you should strike and TTC!!

Hi Atomic! Sorry I was so busy last week to check the forums. The diet is higher protein, no sugar, and you can eat complex carbs. I am not eating a lot of red meat though. I am eating a lot of chicken and white fish. My main goal at this point though is to get my weight, insulin, and hormones under control. I think my best bet is to just stop the exercise completely 6 weeks before we start trying and eat less protein. I have always been 15-20 lbs over my ideal weight every time I conceived or was gaining weight (thinking crap I am going to be pregnant anyway, I'll eat what I want right now..lol). Trying the month or next month right after I stop the pill will be good too. I will be sure to be losing a few pounds the week of trying and also taking benadryl...lol
Makes sense to me! I've been gaining weight with 3 of my 4 and holding steady with the other! Never did manage to actually be losing when I conceived!!

Atomic should I start the saw palmetto and vitex a month or two before I get off the pill? Or should I wait until I am off the pill? What are your thoughts?
I think you need to be off the pill before you start them.
