What are the stats on sway success--boy vs. girl? I mean, is it easier to have a successful sway for one over another?
Just curious.

The stats really can not be counted... everyone does a different thing and for some 1 change may work but for other they need to do 20 changes. All you can do is see what has to be changed and do as much as you can handle!

I've been thinking about this - if sperm count is a major factor (which I think is quite possible) then perhaps it's easier to lower sperm count (for a girl) than to increase it (for a boy)?

How do u lower sperm count ?You don't want that, it sways pink.
Frequent release or long abstinence are the ways to lower sperm count.

Yeah I don't want to do it was just wondering.
Interesting. Maybe another reason why I have girls.

I personally believe that it's "easier" to sway for a boy (and I feel much more confident about my advice for swaying for a boy than I do for a girl) BUT that people who are really "set" for girls may have a harder time overcoming that setting than those who are set for boys. I hope this is not discouraging to anyone because I believe that aside from that tiny handful with true genetic abnormalities that prevent them from conceiving boys 50% of the time, every couple can conceive both boys and girls.
My thinking is, that IF as I believe, high/increasing fertility = more boys and lower/declining fertility = more girls, it's easier for most people to reliably raise fertility than it is to reliably lower it. Because when you're trying to lower fertility, it's too easy to overshoot and then not get pg and then rebound back to normal/improving fertility, and there is just a lot of luck involved about when you actually manage to get pg in that cycle. Where if you're trying to improve fertility, it improves and then you can kinda hang out there, there's nowhere else to go, you can't get too fertile. So that's why I say it's "easier" to sway blue.
But at the same time, for those who are already lower fertility to begin with and are perhaps more "set" for girls because of that, there may be underlying physical reasons for that, that swaying cannot effectively alter, so it may be that for some girl moms, it's just much tougher to overcome that than it is for boy moms to lower their fertility - because anyone can lower their fertility but some people really can't improve theirs. :( Again not trying to discourage anyone, just answering the q.
So they are BOTH hard, in different ways, if that makes any kind of sense.

My thinking on this is that it can't be easier because there are 140-160 boys conceived for every 100 girls. Those swimmers WANT to get to the egg and to overcome that without killing off everything, might be a tough mark to hit.

How do u lower sperm count ?
Both abstaining for long periods of time and doing frequent release, lower male sperm count. Smoking, drinking coffee and alcohol to excess, heat, exposure to chemicals, and having lower testosterone and higher estrogen in men, all lower sperm count as well.
Beyond lowering sperm count, lowering numbers of sperm that are able to survive to make it to the egg also seem to sway. So for the woman, lower pH, less and dryer CM, doing jump and dump, all those things reduce the numbers of sperm even more, and so they sway pink.
Consequently for TTC a boy, you need to have your husband release every 2-4 days for maximum sperm numbers, he can take supplements that improve his sperm count and health, and he also needs to quit smoking/drinking to excess, wear loose fitting underwear and not do a lot of bike riding and jogging (the heat and pressure are harmful to the testicles), lose weight if he's very heavy, and avoid exposure to industrial chemicals and pesticides as much as possible.
And for your part, you want to follow a diet and take supps that improve your overall fertility and improve your CM so more sperm can stay alive to make it to the egg. You can DTD in positions that enable the most sperm to survive to make it into the cervix and prop your hips afterwards.
