What would be best out of these?

Toast with butter and vegemite
Toast with butter and peanut butter
Toast with just peanut butter
Cereal with milk

Cereal and milk would be the best out of those, I say :) What kind of cereal and what kind of milk? I say to have full fat milk and something nutritious like oats/porridge with fruit/museli. Steer away from sugary low nutrient cereals.

I'd say cereal with milk... when I conceived my DS I always ate a breakfast that would keep me going all/most-of the morning, and that was Weetabix or Shreddies with full fat milk.

Cereal never keeps me full for long - I almost always had marmite toast for breakfast (sometimes cereal AS WELL!).

Cereal I'd usually have special K, Just right, just grains, and other similar cereals.
I have 9 seed bread for my toast is that ok ?

Check this http://genderdreaming.com/forum/showthread.php?2316-Links-to-info-about-food-and-drink!

Cereals are great idea, there's a study about cereals and higher chances to conceive a boy. Take them with full fat milk or yogurt.
Butter is also excellent, maybe some fresh tomato with it ( source of Potassium)

Oh, and don't forget to oversalt everything! LOL!

All of the above! They're all great. No need to limit yourself to just one - to TTC a boy, you want to send a message to yoru body that times are good and you have access to lots of different quality foods and so the more variety, the better.

Do be sure to use full fat milk or else almond/coconut milk rather than skim.

Me too! Keep in mind that a lot of us boy moms eat HUGE meals several times a day, so when TTC a boy you are aiming towards eating a lot of foods without gaining TOO much weight. 3-5 pounds is just right and you might want to lift weights to ensure you are adding muscle rather than just fat.

I don't think we can eat HUGE mails without gaining too much weight. Like how ?? (if some one know please tell me because I don't see it) How can we only put on 3-5 pounds if I eat so much??
Lets don't forget we are girl moms are most of us start out small eating very little so now we eat a lot of course we put on a lot. At least me. I started in April and now Im over 25lbs extra!

About the breakfast I always eat cereal with a little milk( not always the best type because I hate wheaties and so ) and then like 2 hours later something else again.

Well I have put on 4kg which is about 9 pounds? So I agree that putting on only 3-5 pounds is tough if we need to eat such a high calorie diet. Can't wait to shred these kilos!

I've always had a big appetite and eat alot. Used to be 4 pieces of toast for breakfast then 3-4 pieces for lunch and then junk like chips and chocolate.

I am eating the same amount now but trying to eat better foods, more variety is that right ?

If you lift weights, you will gain some lbs of muscle rather than fat which is good for your health and your sway, and actually can make some people look slimmer. Then, those pounds of muscle burn off more calories than pounds of fat, significantly.

The other thing is that you have to make good choices with foods so you're getting the max nutrients for the minimum calories. I know it is hard to switch from a girl-friendly diet to a boy-friendly one. I wish I had more time to make up meal plans but as it is I am already spending too much time on here. :/

Example - potatoes. Yes, they have potassium but they are also very heavy in cals and you have to slather them with butter and toppings to make them edible. Same with bananas, yes, potassium, but a lot of calories. Coconut water has MORE potassium than a banana and the same as a potato and only 75 calories.

Example 2 - juices. Instead of pop, drink juice. Drink a cup of juice cut with club soda, rather than a quart of juice. Instead of fruit juice, drink V-8 or tomato, or coconut water, or lemon water instead. All easy ways to save some cals.

Example 3 - mixing protein and carbs. You don't HAVE to do meat and bread or potatoes at every meal, you can also do something small like nuts and a cup of juice for breakfast and even for lunch if you want to. If you are gaining too much, replace all the starchy carbs like bread, potatoes, pasta, with fruits and vegetables. Honestly, I think bread can be cut entirely if you want or need to, just get your carbs from mostly veg and some fruit. So a dinner would consist of a nice piece of meat, with broccoli topped with some hollandaise sauce, and a piece of dark chocolate. That's not a ton of calories but is still nutritious and boy-friendly. Also, consider that sauces count for carbs - a pork chop with cranberry or apricot sauce, or ketchup, has carbs in it already because there are sugars in the sauce. So you may not even NEED to eat another thing with that meal, just a chop with some sauce.

Yes, that is exactly right. 4 pieces of toast for breakfast and lunch is not a boy-friendly diet at all.

You need protein to make boys!!

It doesn't have to be that high though. 2500 cals is plenty for blue and right in line with what the Oxford study found. if you're gaining that much weight on 2500 cals, you need to add in some exercise. In addition to weight lifting, cardio in MODERATION (45 min or less, 4-5 days a week) does NOT sway pink and will help you keep the weight down. ONLY extreme cardio when you are actually losing weight and eating a low protein/low cal diet, sways pink.

This is a big part of why I urge everyone to not focus too much on timing and be judicious with the BS, so you can get pg FAST rather than having to spend months TTC.

Sometimes a change in diet wether it be typical to a certain gender sway or not, can be enough for your body to go OK this is different... and so they get an different gender.

I totally understand that, I just want people to focus on things that are actually proven rather than timing, which not only is pretty much 99.99% debunked, but is keeping people from conceiving and ending up having to stay on this dang diet forever.

I was afraid you were going to say add in some cardio! I have never had to do exercise to maintain my weight so I was thinking (wishfully) I wouldn't ever have to do cardio to drop weight.

Bec - I am doing weights 3 times a week for 30min along with 20min cardio. I dont know if this is helping me keep the weight stable or not gain at the rate i expected based on the amount of food i am eating. I basically switched my unhealthy foods with healthy ones... though it is a major change for me to eat those foods, i hope i am not adding too many calories overall.

Replaced fat free milk with full fat dairy, soda with juice, sugary sweets with nuts and dried fruits. Along with these changes i am adding more boy friendly foods during meals like tomato, potato, eggs, meat, fish, chicken, avocado, banana. I am not trying to eat everything every day like i did for the first couples of weeks. I just fit in more times during the week.

Well, if you go with the French Gender Diet, they are all about the salt for boys and don't allow nuts because they have magnesium in them.

In my High Everything Diet, I think nuts are ideal for blue and I know for a fact that they don't sway pink because I used to eat 1/2 c nuts every morning for breakfast for several years and conceived 1 boy and then another boy soon after while swaying pink while the nutty goodness was still in my system.
