I would like to start ttc a boy in september. Any ideas on when I should get my Mirena out? Also, I'm still breastfeeding my 18 month old- but only twice a day.

Sorry, that's two questions! I'm trying to decide if I should pay for he customized plan or not, it's just a bit out of my budget.

I've got the mirena too and will be ttc blue in April 2018. I am planning on getting it out 6 months before ttc. I don't know if there is a set recommendation but my understanding is birth control such as the mirena sways pink so I figure the longer you can give yourself between having it removed and ttc the better.

Breastfeeding does sway pink but there are plenty of expections to that around here so not a deal breaker.

All the info you need to sway is available free on the site, just depends if you have the time or inclination to find it.

I help everyone regardless of their ability to pay - while the plans do help me do that (otherwise I'd have to work outside the home) I'm here for everyone. You may have to wait a little longer for your answer, that's all.

Mirena needs to come out ASAP. We find that TTC right after Mirena removal sways pink. It's not 100% or anything but the sooner it's out, the better.

Re breastfeeding, it may sway pink a little but nothing like the Mirena does. Plus, it's overcomable with diet and lifestyle changes. I got a boy while breastfeeding (and swaying pink too LOL) so I can tell you it's def. possible. :)
