Hi Atomic (and anyone else who may be able to assist)

I am back for one lucky last sway. Ive been skipping breakfast and lightly following a LE diet. I am not able to fit in the exercise requirement but when I can I do.

I am 33, DH just turned 35 in May. I believe I would have conceived my boys quite quickly, dtd every 3 or 4 days. Some would have been multiple attempts (2 at most).

My cycles can be off a little and I can have a short LP some months of 9 days (only based on opk testing) though the average seems about 12.

This time I was wanting to try frequent release or abstain. Im not sure how DH will go with FR i *think he will survive. Id love to be pg this month or next as beyond that i have due dates around other ds's bdays. Thats why i was thinking FR as we can fit in a couple of attempts if he has been releasing daily (i had been reading your post about bd pattern).

Thanks for helping.

Yay! I'm so glad you're back [emoji16]!

I would not have your DH do FR. It's way too easy to back fire on you. He may end up shooting blanks by O time, or take a break and then you end up with poor sperm quality. Same for abstain. I would honestly still do 1 attempt in some fashion. I too have 2 of my 3 boys from one or, at most, 2 attempts. I also have a girl with one attempt.

I would stay strict with the limits (1500-1800 cals, 40-60g protein and fat). Don't focus on foods but focus on the limits. That's what I did. I even had more meat (not red though) during my BFP month, but I rarely went over the limits. I bet if you do that and have one attempt (Don't give up or lose faith!) and that should do the trick. Coffee and alcohol too.

I know you want to try something different but let us focus on doing what has been getting the best results most of the time, eh? Especially since exercise is off of the table [emoji6].

So to recap- my vote (if I get one [emoji16]) is staying in the limits but not foods and one attempt somehow.

Thanks XX. Ill have a talk with DH. We need to dance around our work schedules too so I need to be realistic 😫

Im just glad that I'm giving it one final try and making peace already with whatever will be, will be. That's what was missing last time for me.

If you have your heart set on FR or abstain but want to have more than one attempt then abstain is not gonna be your best bet. But XX is totally right in that will cut odds of conception and also his ability to seal the deal when it's go time.

I really, really think that neither abstain nor FR have done anything for us at all and only seem to cause stress and strain when it comes to swaying. i understand the desire to leave no stone unturned but swaying is weird in that you can seemingly do the same thing and get a different result!!
