How short is too short of a luteal phase? I get a lot of mixed answers when I google it. Mine has been averaging 11 days. (Ovulating day 16 or 17 of a 28 day cycle)

I conceived my two boys with a 10 day luteal phase. 10 days is a bit borderline but I think anything 10 or above is considered OK for conceiving. I think 11 or 12 days should be fine.

11 days is perfectly fine! Short is usually around 7 or 8 (or less). The average luteal phase is between 10 and 16 days.

Anything 10 and up is fine, even 8-10 days is ok for most people most of the time.

Lmd 11 sounds good. I usually average around 12. I have been longer than this and also some cycles short of 9 days.

It is not unusual to have that varying LP that way - totally normal!! :)
