Did you follow a diet plan?
Yes

Comments regarding DW's diet changes-
I started the LE loosely after the new year. I completely cut out snacking throughout the day. The thought of no snacking was actually harder than not snacking at all. When April approached I went strictly vegetarian. My first meal was at noon sometimes later. (I liked to let myself feel hungry) I'd eat dinner around 5pm. There were days I would squeeze a third meal in just depending on how I was feeling. I drank at 3-4 cups of coffee throughout the morning to curb my appetite. Here and there I also drank anything diet or Coke Zero. Every night I drank a few nice size glasses a red wine to end my day.
If diet was used, length of time before attempt?
24 weeks
Did you skip breakfast regularly?
Yes
Did DH change his diet with you?
Yes
Comments regarding DH's diet-
DH did eat way more healthier leading up to our attempt. 3 months leading up to our attempt DH was away for work. He was attending a course for promotion advancement. It included physical fitness training where he was doing more cardio than he normally does. He normally does cardio workouts 3-4 times a week but these work outs were longer and more intense. They were also 4-5 times a week. His diet consisted of more vegetables during the week. He would eat a light breakfast, or none at all. Lunch and dinner were smaller portions than he would normally eat. He would also have 2-3 servings more of vegetables than he normally eats.

No, I drink caffeine regularly

Things that make me feel great about my sway:
I feel great about the diet. It was completely different from the way I ate before. I also feel great about my attempt.
Things that make me nervous about my sway:
Even though I did notice the weight loss around O. I feel I relaxed a teeny tiny bit on the diet, but not enough to beat myself up about it. I wish I could have done more exercise on my part. I went for walks with my kiddos and I can only hope it was enough.
Things worth mentioning:
At the end of all this I can only let go, and let God :)

My pregnancy ended in a natural miscarriage at 12 weeks last Saturday

Atomic what would you recommend moving forward? I had zero appetite with this pregnancy, and lost 15 pound the past 12 weeks. I started back drinking coffee in the mornings and zero snacking. My appetite hasn't fully returned, but I'm watching what I eat when I do. I'm still bleeding from the miscarriage, but my doctor said I'm open to try whenever I'm ready.

Oh I'm so sorry to read this - my condolences.

I would try to catch the first egg if possible. Don't worry about diet, you'll already have been depleted by the pregnancy and loss (and it sounds like you are very depleted.)

Did they shed any light on why the loss occurred, or why you were experiencing such massive weight loss?

Hi Atomic! Thank you so much for getting back to me! I definitely feel depleted. I haven’t gotten my appetite back, and I’m still breastfeeding my now 2 yr old which seems around the clock. They aren’t sure why I lost the pregnancy, because it occured before my scheduled appointment. My doctor said the pregnancy was gone, and my uterus empty. He said there wasn’t anything more for me to do, because my body did what it was suppose to. I always seem to lose weight in the beginning of all my pregnancies maybe due to morning sickness.

Gotcha. I'm very sorry to hear that although I am thankful for your sake that it was an easy natural loss.

I do not want you to lose any more weight at all and please try to hold steady where you are or even gain some back. Do whatever it takes to keep eating.

Did they do any bloodwork at all?? I think you need to add in an iron supplement, 30-60 mg (avoid the ones that have hundreds of mg in them as they are badly absorbed and make you really sick as well) daily for the next month and then reduce to 3x a week. Continue this at 3x a week until you get a BFP and then gradually wean back to the amount in a prenatal (start off taking it at the same time as the prenatal, and then gradually space doses on the iron further and further out till down to one per week, then drop it.)

I suspect your little one was nursing more because the pregnancy had suppressed milk supply a bit and he may dial it back once your supply returns to normal.

Hi Atomic! I did have bloodwork done I’d say when I was 6 weeks along, but nothing after the miscarriage. I will definitely start the iron pills asap! I hear people getting pregnant without even seeing their first cycle after miscarriage. Should I wait till I see my first cycle before trying? I know you said catch the first egg, so I'm just making sure. Thank you so much for your advice it really mean a lot!

Yes you can get pregnant that way and we do have good results for pink as well.

By "catch the first egg" you will release an egg usually before having a period bleed, so once you're feeling up to it, you can have attempts every 4 days or do OPK strips and have one attempt at pos OPK.
