Hello ladies. I'm in my first month of swaying so not necessarily trying to get a BFP this month (just started LE diet last week) but I do want to understand timing.

I'm trying to sway pink after three lovely boys (all who were conceived after a pos OPK). I'm not temping or using OPKS bc last time I did I ended up with boys. Just tracking my cycles on an app. (Mistake?) The fertile window the app gives me lines up to be correct most cycles.

Sorry I'm rambling...should I start using opks? I understand one attempt during a fertile window but what does frequency need to look like before that? We are pretty steady once a week for BD. Anyway I've read the essay on timing. I just need clarification on cut off, timing, how to do one attempt
Etc.

Thanks!!

The apps don't work well. They just "guesstimate" when O will take place.

It's fine if you don't want to use OPK. Just BD unprotected once a week like you have been. This is a kind of modified every 4 day method with lower odds of conception, and will def. qualify as one attempt.

Thank you Atomic. How are you in so many places at one time? This is a simple plan which I like but I suppose there's a good chance I will miss my fertile window without charting correct?

A chance, yes. You can also end up pregnant this way, has happened to many people. But you have only been on diet a week, and since we see such better results with more like 12 weeks on diet, I think you're best off starting with very low chances of conception this first month and then we can always narrow that pattern closer as the months pass (so like next month make it 6, then 5, then 4, etc)
