So, the past two days I have gone over in protein in my sway, my husband and I are planning to ttc pink at the end of November. Is this anything to be concerned about? Is a slip up every now and then a big deal? Or is it ok as long as you stay in limits most of the time?

Cheats now and again are encouraged. Going over on protein for two days, four months in advance of TTC is not going to undo your diet. If it worked that way, we'd only have to change our diet for a few days instead of 12+ weeks for a girl sway.

Agreed. It is about the overall pattern and change and not just a particular day that will sway. GL with your sway!!!

Thank you all so much for your responses. I'm hoping it won't be an issue, even on my vegetarian diet I've been going over a little on protein. I definitely need to start eating foods with less protein as that's the only thing I'm going over on, only by about 10g, but I still don't want it to become an all the time thing!
I'm glad to know cheats are ok for every now and then! Thank you all again for your reassurance!

Well, you're plenty far out from swaying anyway so even if you ate a side of beef it would be fine. But to answer your question as a general rule, 2 days over on protein is absolutely fine, just let it go and regroup the next day. Cheating is not only allowed, but encouraged on LE Diet. Not all the time but a couple days now and then it's fine :)

If you were having 40 and are now getting 50 that is still in limits anyway. LE limits go up as high as 60 and for about 5% of people, even 70 g of protein is allowed.

Thank you atomic! So happy to know a cheat day every now and then is ok! I know one day I got up to 70 and the rest have been low 60's! But other then those days I've been good with keeping within limits and my calorie intake is up as well!
Thank you again for all of your help! This forum is seriously so helpful!!
