i am new here, pregnant with number 3, already have 2 boys and hoping this one will be my long awaited girl. i see there are many here in the same situation so i'm not going crazy after all.

Welcome to the site:) I looked at your nub aswell:agree: and will make the extra comment of, thats probably the girliest looking head I've seen for a long while;) Even though skull guessing if for fun, I wouldn't shop for blue yet, GL xx

I saw your nub too but I am no professional and am only leaning toward a boy so really am only guessing like a 50/60. It very well could be a girl!

what is the skull shape theory?
thanksthe skull theory says that boys and girls have different shaped heads which is very true in adults but a bit flakey in babies. If the skull has a clear caveman look to it, so sloping from the eyebrows to the forehead or if its flatter from eyebrows to forehead its a boy, and a girl head has a point in the middle (like yours;)).

Luckily! A lady who is good with it has just joined the site lol, Proudmummy26:) MAybe if you send her a pm she may have a guess for you, best of luck!

Also if you like at the confirmed girl nub shots, mine ELP, has an angled nub and spine and pointy head. not trying to give you a guarantee, but just trying to keep your hope alive for a while longer xxx

you know, a few months ago I might have scoffed at this, but lately I have been noticing that baby girls look "weird" to me...I mean weird as in different from what I expect when I look at a baby, not weird in a bad way LOL...baby boys are all I ever have looked at for the last 20 years!! I am starting to wonder if there may be something to that idea!!

Its so strange AS, but completely true!! Women have bigger frontal lobes as we think ,ore, and more have bigger somewhere else lol? as they just do stuff! or something like that. They can tell an adult skulls gender from the differences with a 92% accuracy, which is where I got the idea it may work with the babies, my latest theory is hip to shoulder ratio:prof::rofl:
