Haha! We sure will! I'm waiting on buying anymore outfits, because I know between my mom and grandma, my DH's mom and sister, she will be getting lots! I basically buy stuff when it's on sale. She has plenty of newborn stuff, and I'm waiting to see what we get for 0-3mo. I'm sure I'll be buying loads!

It hasn't fully sunken in for me yet and probably won't until well after she arrives!

I still remember reading your post after u found out the gender. I was new here then and I cried my eyes out. How pampered are those girls going to be!

Me too! I just get touched up every time I hear my DH say he is finally getting his baby girl! We both are adjusting to saying girl, daughter, sister! My DH is normally one to watch how much we spend on things, but with her he's like "get whatever you think she needs". He didn't bat an eye about 36 headbands, the 4 packages of super cute socks, and all of the clothes I've bought! He even picked out her coming home outfit complete with accessories [emoji4]!

Ash-I've been following in your footsteps lol. First we had the same granite, then you got your BFP & mine soon after, you got your girl & mine soon after!!! [emoji176][emoji177][emoji175][emoji166]It'll be fun seeing all the girlie things you find....new territory for us!! Pay day is Friday for me...look out world!!
This morning has been a whirlwind with the gender reveal with DH & the boys, then phone calls & texts to close family. The confetti poppers were a bust though b/c they wouldn't pop lol. I'll attach the video link anyway, still fun & they were excited! All of our family is so happy & only nice comments. Well one person said "thought for sure you'd have to have 6 or 7 before you got your girl," but oh well haha...don't care anymore!
Nacire, soon after I got the call, I did receive the results in an email through Counsyl, so I could see for myself!!

XX it took me ages for it to sink in it was so surreal, i spent so many years truly believing i couldnt successfully carry girls after a stupid comment from the consultant who looked after our case when i lost our daughter in 2011 so when i heard girl at the scan i just couldnt believe that she would make it, but she proved me wrong :) and is now my 2 year old whirlwind who has no problem keeping up with her 4 big brothers!!

Lola i love how you and Ash both have your girls on the way <3 when are you due? and has dh had to mention the Sophia "thing" to his family yet? i hope they just accept it and dont cause issues

4blue2pink-due Feb 12th! DH told his family that it's a girl, but hasn't mentioned the name yet & no one asked. His brother & SIL just had their baby 7/21 & wanted to let them simmer on their excitement for a little bit. He has it planned out though...

Thank you. I really like the crib quilt with roses, it's very pretty. Your stuff looks very professional. I have been sewing for awhile but mine doesn't look that nice. I am much better at crocheting. I thought about selling crocheted stuff on there but not even sure how it really works. I mean do you sell a lot often or does it take a long time for things to sell? And is it expensive to sell on there?

AshFind
July 24th, 2017, 05:22 PM
It's not to expensive to sell on there. If I have my kids weighted blankets listed the sell to fast for me to keep up so I've been trying to make them first before listing and well you see how that's been working out lol I lost one it sells and my page is empty again. But I just hate knowing I have to fulfill an order I'd rather just have it made to ship right away. I think it's $.20 to list then 10% once you sell then PayPal takes a fee of 10% up to $50 then 5% for anything over $50 it's confusing but once you get the hang of it it goes pretty fast. I'm sure cute crochet things would sell! I love the baby hats and would love love a blanket [emoji177]

Ash-that headband is so precious! You are so creative! ...And all of the other things you make...so talented!!
Mommy-the outfit was a flash sale from canopy couture. I get these random e-mails from them all the time for "free" items, you just pay tax. Sometimes I think it's just smart marketing to make people think it's free. I'll post the next deal I see. It takes some time to receive. There are also some cute clothes on lennylemons.com, but heard it takes awhile to receive. I may order some things now since time isn't a factor.

Ash-Yes!!! Zulily oh my!!! Trying to think smart for pay day on Friday, but it's going to be a challenge haha!
Oh & DH's mom messaged me with her excitement...she hadn't heard of the genetic testing, but guess I'm the first OLD one in the family to have a baby lol. So she asked about the name. I told DH & he was like-"IGNORE IT, she's fishing for info, I never told her that's def the name...do not respond to that part. I want to tell my brother first." I said "she obviously remembered, so what's the big deal???" I say at least it has crossed her mind! DH was adamant not to say anything *sigh* family dynamics!!

That was DH's mom & DH said "I never told her that we were naming her Sophia, she's fishing to see if we are." I said "well she must remember from every baby where we always said the name was Sophia Leigh." We were team green for DS2 2 years ago & everyone knew that this was our girl name...we just had a boy instead (who I wouldn't trade for the world). I guess she assumes we're still using it, but DH did NOT want me to confirm. So weird, I really don't understand why he doesn't just tell her, but I guess his relationship with his mom is different than how I would handle things. Ugh.
Oh and Ash, forgot to say, yep those are Honest diapers, they have such cute patterns...perfect for a diaper wreath [emoji4]

Thank you ladies so much! I'm SO happy to be here, especially after so many disappointments.

Ash, I looked at your chart and it had 2 back to back am attempts for this pregnancy. That's right? We had (what I believe, but of course I don't know when I actually ovulated) a O-2 and O day attempt, with O day being the morning attempt that I took did the trick. I was worried that 2 attempts plus a morning attempt might mean boy. I've been having cramping on my right side and getting nervous about it. Of course will be happy with a healthy baby, but curious if that means anything.

Ouch Lola!!! Hope you're okay!

Max, yes we had 3 attempts [emoji15] I was so scared about that but the third was on O day and we did use lube and j&d that day. And I'm sure I ovulated from the right side because I still had a cyst on that side at my 13 week scan. I seen your wives tale post but didn't read it. The baking soda at 10w was right but this was the first time I did it, the Chinese gender chart was right but I don't believe this one since it's been wrong with my boys, the cravings are for sure different this time I can't stand sweets! And I crave more veggies and fruit. But he only one I've done every time and t has been right every time is the ring swing. Back and forth boy and circle girl and this should work right away!

Ash, randomly enough there's a woman that lives here that has 4 sons and they waited several years before trying again and now have a daughter. I automatically thought of you! She's now 3 years old and the princess of their family.

Wonder if anyone else has heard that morning bd theory. I remember that from when I got pregnant with my daughter and my best friend got pregnant with a boy...she lives by that theory (they only wanted boys). I was also a big believer of shettles at the time, so....

dreaming, I'm glad to hear that you're excited. I must say that's the part that makes me nervous the most (comments from family). My MIL has made so many comments over the past about how I could never handle more children because "mine are such a handful" and that she hopes for my sake that it would be a boy if we did get pregnant so there could be less drama in her sons life (my DH). HA! You have another son right? I think same sex siblings are the best gift...it's part of the reason that I am swaying so hard for another girl. My best friend has 3 sons and they are by far the sweetest guys ever and love each other so much.

Lola, love the name Sophia! My DD is Ella Sophia.

dreamingella

Max exactly why I'm so excited. Your sway for another girl helped put that in perspective for me. I have 2 other boys and the dynamic right now is tough. But I've heard that the 3rd of the same gender levels things out and they become a pack. They already love each other so much but with just them two the frustrations and competition run high. I'm really looking forward to them coming together as a threesome unit.

I'm not doing it, not ready to know yet, so I want know until late September. If interested, definitely ask your OB though.

Have you posted your sway? I can't see it through your pages x

dreaming, I'm glad to hear that you're excited.

That's such a lovely way to look at things (same sex siblings) :)

Hi Maxim!!! So happy to see you here! I went somewhere in the middle for due date and used 30th March. We can change after your dating scan [emoji3]

Ash that is so cute about your ds with the doll [emoji23][emoji23]

I'm going to have to try this rimg over the palm thing too!

My mum is coming for an overnight visit so wont be back until maybe tonight? I'm heading to the doctor tomorrow and I'm going to ask to go back on antidepressants again [emoji46] I was going so well after weaning off them completely after my bfp but my mood swings are returning with a vengeance. I don't understand my brain, I have nothing to be down about yet it feels I have no emotional control some days...... anyway I'm accepting the fact that this is me, this is my brain and I've just gotta do what needs doing to stay my normal self :)

Kat, thanks love! I will definitely update tomorrow. And I'll definitely be asking about the early test. You ladies that are patient amaze me...I'm so anxious to know right NOW! :)

Mum, I haven't posted a sway yet. I was waiting to just confirm that everything looked okay with beta. I'll definitely do it afterwards. I think I have a naturally girl friendly diet (didn't know about swaying when I conceived both DD's, but I'm a big coffee, diet coke and red wine drinker, don't eat any red meat ever, etc.) I did the same this time around, but also tried to avoid some "boy foods" that I did eat previously (bananas, tomatoes, cereal, etc.) and cut out snacking, which I previously did. I had 2 attempts this time, had 2-3 with my DD's when they were conceived.

Pbn, thanks so much! And my DH just started antidepressants and it's been a game changer for him. He has so much stress and anxiety put on by work/life and it's been the best thing that he could have done for himself (and in term to me and our girls). Don't feel guilty about it, so many people take them these days and you have to do what's best for you...

Finally got caught up again!

Congrats Ash and Lola for hearing GIRL!!! So exciting!

Dreaming - I fully understand the comment about feeling the pangs with all of these girl announcements and all. But I agree, I am truly happy for those that get their DG and I know this little one will be a perfect fit for our family.

Max - So very happy to see you hear!!! Glad all is going well so far.

Welcome to the new ladies and can't wait for more gender reveals!

I am still here chugging along. I have tried this ring test at least 5 times but putting my ring on a strand of hair over my belly, and it just sits there. No back and forth, no circle, no movement at all!!!! What could that mean????
I am getting a bit concerned over this little one as the itching has gotten worse and I worry about the intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy (ICP). It apparently is not much harm to me, but could cause the placenta to stop working or even stillbirth. That really scares me. Hoping my midwife gets my blood work results back to me soon.

Pbn my ms has been sooooo much better I've been taking 1whole unisom before bed and 3 vit. B6 throughout the day. I HATE HATE HATE swallowing pills so that's why I hadn't tried it before but I figure if the dr was willing to prescribe me meds if this didn't work I should at least give it a try and I recommend it to anyone having moderate m/s life saver ! I haven't thrown up in a week and only have very mild nausea here and there usually if I don't eat. My boys seem excited? Lol not sure there boys and young. I bought a baby doll yesterday and ds4 who is 2yo keeps carrying it around "heyyo baby" sooo cute but I really think he thinks it IS his baby sister [emoji23] we still got work to do!

Max-the ring test was right for me-first time I've ever tried it. Chinese calendar was wrong & always has been. 3 circles for you, sounds like your girl! [emoji12] My cramps were on the right side too, they eventually subsided. Ella Sophia is such a beautiful name!!! Do you have names for this one yet? Those comments from your MIL, gosh, she sounds like the dramatic one lol. I know you want another girl & Fx for you to have 3 sweet girls with a close bond!! ....However, if your boy vibes happen to be right, boys are pretty awesome! I know your girls would adore him!!! Let us know about your betas! Also, about the early gender test, I went to a genetic specialist for a consult & bw and the earliest they would make the appt was 10 weeks 2 days! Mostly recommended/offered for 35 & older. Mine was called Counsyl Prelude & got results pretty fast-6 calendar days!
Dreaming-I'm so happy to hear you've had a great response from everyone & you're doing well! I think I may have mentioned this before, but my OB said he was the youngest of 3 boys. He is such a smart, funny person & fantastic dr. It made me realize a 3rd is his/her own person meant to do great things no matter what the gender is! For me, I get so hung up on traditions & experiences that I was having trouble getting past that strong desire for the girl experience. My family calls me dainty which I think is a nice way of saying I'm prissy lol. I'm so close with my mom-really wanted that bond. BUT with that being said, my boys....ohhhh such sweethearts & momma's boys!!!!! You are going to be the princess of your household & you know boys love love love their mommas!!! [emoji170]
Blue-I haven't tried the test over my hand, but want to now! Can't wait for you to hear!
Pbn-are you on Zoloft (if you don't mind me asking)...that's what I take for anxiety, but weaned off as well through this 1st trimester. My OB said there was only a very SMALL risk of issues & felt it was safe for me to stay on it if benefits outweighed risks. However, I took a break. You are past the critical early development stages, so do what's best for you! In fact, I'm considering going back on it for 2nd trimester. My anxiety now stems from worrying about this pregnancy ...And I always worry about my boys!! I go back to work soon which is added stress-although I am excited to see co-workers & share my news!!
Shann-yay 24 weeks! Praying for all to be well! I don't know much about the ring test, but I put it on a strand of hair also...I have long hair. I used my wedding band. Maybe try a string?
Ash-so glad you are feeling much better!!!!

What does the nurse say when you ask for more info-so weird that they aren't providing more input. BTW, lovvve Ella Sophia. Do you have a name picked out for this one??

Lola, the nurse initially told me my numbers were low, then just said they're doubling so looks "okay" (her words). Just gave me pause... For some reason, my gut is telling me boy on this one, it's so strange. If it's indeed a boy, we have absolutely no boy names. Regardless, they will probably be named after someone in our family. Both of our daughters are named after our grandparents. :)

Thanks Iwant4 & Itty!!!

We have a few people that we could name a girl after... From DH's side, he has Samantha and has been stuck on it since we were looking for DD1's name. He brought it up again after DD2 and I shut it down. It reminds me of Samantha from Sex in the City, so it's hard for me to name a DD after that. However, he has someone very special to him that he would like to have another DD named after, and I would somehow need to integrate that into a name (so probably would be a middle name). It also means "G-d heard", and I guess in my case after swaying for a DD, maybe it would be appropriate? I also love Alexandra, Ellie, Alexis, and some other names, but they're mostly of little girls that I know and love so we probably can't use them. :) For boys, no clue...we've never even talked about it so no idea where to start. Did you guys have intuitions about your gender with any pregnancies? I don't know if I'm feeling a boy vibe because it truly is just that, or if I want a girl so badly and this is my first time "swaying", so my mind is mentally preparing me for an opposite just in case?

XXforhubby
July 26th, 2017, 01:04 PM
Max- That's great! They are more than doubling- they are at a 34hr doubling time, which is less that 48hrs! Yes they may have been low at first, but how many people go in for betas at 11-13dpo? That early the numbers WILL be low! What matters is the doubling time as time goes on. Yours is around 34hr at 17-19dpo, which is less than 48hrs! That's excellent! This means your betas will be nice and high soon! Cue the morning sickness! It may come on around 5-6weeks!

As far as being a boy- too early tell. Don't let betas fool you- at 21dpo mine were 25,300something with my DS3! At 21dpo with my DS2 they were a mere 120!

What all of this tells us is you have a healthy, sticky bean growing!!

Thanks for sharing that, it's so reassuring to hear!!! I don't know why she couldn't have said that on the phone lol...

It's also interesting about the hcg numbers. I googled it and somehow it brought up an article that low hcg = boy, high hcg = girl. Obviously there's going to be people on both sides, but my goodness it's such an overload of info. I had to go in for bloodwork with DD1 because my progesterone was low, I didn't even realize that they ran two betas until I went back this morning into her pregnancy binder and saw that!

Oh, and xx...this morning I almost threw up when I was brushing my teeth. And yesterday a piece of my hair got blown into my mouth from wind and it caused me to dry heave. Perfect....morning sickness is around the corner. I already don't have a huge appetite to begin with, so it's not going to be fun!

Max, when I was pregnant with my daughter, I was SURE it was a boy. Never second guessed it, never thought twice about it. I even bought boy clothes. I did the Chinese gender calendar and when it said girl I immediately thought that it was obviously wrong. When we were at the ultrasound and the tech said girl, I think my jaw was on the floor!! I really didn't mind one way or another whether it was a boy or a girl going into it, so I was thrilled to have a girl too. Just wanted to share that intuition isn't always right!
My husband, on the other hand, said that it was a girl the whole time! He has this weird ability to predict genders. He's only been wrong once out of all of the pregnancies of people that we have known!

It all really is interesting, Max! I have boy vibes right now too, but I don't trust myself after the last pregnancy! Haha. Did you have an intuition with your girls?

kat1234
July 26th, 2017, 01:47 PM
Max - I thought my last 2 girls were boys and like you, I'm not sure if it's bc I wanted girls or I just felt boy. When I told my family my first was a girl they thought I was kidding like wouldn't believe me that's how much everyone thought I was having a boy. I think intuition is 50/50 just like wives tales!

Max-those are all beautiful names! For DS1, I really thought he was going to be a girl since I was craving sweets & felt sooo sick! I was surprised to hear boy at my U/S. For DS2-I was team green, but had a feeling the whole time that he was another boy. For this one, I told myself over & over again that it was going to be a girl [emoji4] Love XX's way of explaining it hcg, that nurse needs a few tips lol. I only had my blood tested for DS1 and numbers were very high...we even got excited thinking TWINS.
Ittybitty-sounds like a neat website, I'll have to check it out!

Ohhh fun Ittybitty, I'll definitely be playing around on that site!! Has everyone else chosen names?

It's soooo good to hear that you guys also felt opposites. With my girls, I honestly didn't know, I was just so happy to have gotten pregnant quickly (oh to be young again lol). With my first pregnancy, I really, really wanted a boy. I grew up with only sisters and wanted to know the dynamic of a son. With DD2, I was fine either way because I thought we were going to be done, so either way it's 2 girls or one of each. This time around, because I only have girls, I want to keep the same sex dynamic, especially with the big age gap, so really wanting a girl. I think it's because of that I feel like it will be an opposite, you know?!

maximbella
July 26th, 2017, 01:58 PM
Okay so the theory of low hcg = boys and high hcg = girls is obviously going out the window with your stories!! :)

Guys i am thinking of this crazy thing and am worried the OB will think i am crazy. But i am planning an elective induction coinciding my days regularly scheduled days off work so i wont have to take a separate unpaid maternity leave. Plus we had plans of an out of state travel so i cant use those leaves [emoji853] its just a mess. But i am told doctors dont do elective inductions b4 39 weeks

Blue, yes...am I crazy to want another girl? [emoji51] main reason was for my girls to have the closeness of sisters like I have (I'm one of 4 girls). Would love nothing more than to give them that! Not that they can't be as close with a brother, but I don't know what that's like since I never had one growing up, but figured if we are having another with a large age gap between, at least they would have some overlap with interests. I can just imagine a sweet little guy being left out of things with 2 older sisters and there is ZERO chance I could convince DH to have #4.

Hi ladies! I'm new to this group. DH and I just found out (VERY unexpectedly) that we are expecting at the very end of March. Our original plan was to sway blue in January, but that is no longer an option for us. So we didn't sway with this one but are hoping for blue! I know timing does not sway but I can't help thinking how we conceived!...we were actively trying NOT to get pregnant and fell pregnant anywhere by doing NFP and not having intercourse during my fertile week. The last time we had intercourse was on CD 12, and I didn't get a positive opk (peak-smiley) until CD 16!!! and then I kicked hubby away until CD 20 (he even pulled out on day 20!), and we STILL ended up pregnant somehow. I was in utter shock and really had my heart set on swaying for a boy next year. I'm hoping and praying that the fact that I've been lifting weights and circuit training for about 4 months now and trying to keep my weight somewhat up and my diet somewhat boy-friendly that things will just miraculously fall in my favor. But my hope in that isn't very high because we were SO far from ovulation when we conceived and my youngest DD is only 5 months old. I just can't believe we were able to get pregnant with that kind of cut off! Anyway, hope everyone is having a great pregnancy and praying you get your DG!

Wow congrats mal and welcome!
Try not to worry too much I think it's a blessing that you got pregnant and I think whatever will be will
Be regardless of what we do or don't. Some fall pg accidentally, some don't sway amd some sway and it can go either way. I think the diet and excersise you did do
Does sound promising as it's better than nothing right? I'm wishing you a happy healthy pregnancy and whatever the outcome of gender at least your dd and baby will Be close to each other :) xxx

So in terms of names, I decided to let the boys choose. there were lots of names they wanted us to choose and lots they didn't due to other boys in their grade sharing the same name :)
Anyway, none that dh and I actually liked so I looked online and think we are currently leaning towards daniyal (said as Daniel-just different spelling) or Adam
dh has asked for Adam for the past two pregnancies so it would be mean not to give in :)
My only worry is if we go for daniyal or danyal I don't want it to be pronounced as Danielle (female version)
How many of you ladies honestly read it as Daniel
And not Danielle? :nails::bigsmile:

Just caught up
On your beta situation and I think and pray you will be fine. I had low levels with my past pregnancy and wasn't sure of the outcome I defo wasn't 19dpo I was further so quite scared but that pregnancy actually turned out to be twins. Both the early scans didn't spot the second twin but the third did and it was around that time that my levels started to even out. Xx

I'm still learning names so I'm aorry i probably won't add them now.. thats going to be confusing hey!

Yay for the positive IC test! I love seeing positive tests. There is something about those two lines hey! and I agree with all that has been said about the hcg level. It's still early days and has to start somewhere! :)

That name site sounds interesting! We are all sorted for names this time around (first pregnancy we have chosen before birth!) but I'm curious to see what it suggests for us!

Sorry mum of four monkeys.. I read it as Danielle :( but if you use it the people around you will learn the right pronunciation :)

Still another full day until I can call doctor for my results. I hope they are in tomorrow! It's not guarenteed.. just is the possible earliest day... I feel like it will never come!

1. I failed as i cant bring a boy into our family and 2. I tried at something (sway) and couldn't achieve that either.

Laurel. I didn't have an opposite sway per say. I didn't know about swaying until my second angel baby.
With my fourth I just assumed, he would be a girl, that I would have a pattern. Boy, girl, boy, girl. So I was devastated as soon as she turned the screen on and my fourth baby was showing he was indeed a he. I figured he would have to be my last baby due to csections. Luckily the ob gave us a go ahead for one more.
I wouldn't trade my little boy for anything! Fell in love with him and his personality! He's pretty great! I do long for just one more girl though!

Max-yayyy for telling your mom & sis! I'm sure they're so excited! How did you spill the beans? And as far as behavior, I think it's a personality thing b/c my boys are WILD, but super sweet!
Blue-I don't know much about inductions & I don't think you're crazy at all for wanting that! However, I think most OBs won't induce unless medically necessary. I had a friend who was already dilated and in a lot of pain-her OB did induce (a week early) & everything turned out great with a vag delivery. How many weeks would you be? I will have a planned c-section and my OB won't schedule it until 39 weeks so that baby will cook a little longer (unless there is a medical reason for earlier).
Mum of four monkeys-I'll admit, I read your pronunciation before you asked if it looked like "Daniel." I don't think it will be read as Danielle & it's a nice name [emoji4]What your other kid's names-I think you've told us?

I'm honestly not sure how I would've reacted and it may not be my place to comment, but I was trying to prepare myself. I was so anxious in the days ahead & having nightmares of reacting childishly screaming & crying "noooo, I've failed, I don't even want this baby anymore." It felt so horrible to wake up & wonder how I could even have this feeling even if it was just a bad dream! In trying to process everything, I reminded myself that this is a tiny human who will be his/her own person no matter what the gender is! One thing I always thought about was how my OB told me he was the youngest of 3 boys! He is smart, funny & a fantastic dr!! It felt so horrible to wake up & wonder how I could even have this feeling even if it was just a bad dream! In trying to process everything, I reminded myself that this is a tiny human who will be his/her own person no matter what the gender is! One thing I always thought about was how my OB told me he was the youngest of 3 boys! He is smart, funny & a fantastic dr!! Girl or boy, you could be bringing the next neurosurgeon, dentist, lawyer, executive, inventor, teacher, athlete, artist or just downright awesome person into the world! [emoji4]Every baby is a miracle & we have the privilege of raising them & watching them grow up. My mom always says our children our "borrowed" we give them roots & wings [emoji4]

Thank you - this was super helpful!

Laurel-I was guessing "Ellie-ah-nuh" as well [emoji4] What is your boy name if you feel like sharing?? We have had our girl name picked out for years, before we even got engaged lol & it's Sophia Leigh w/ nn "Sophie Leigh." Most already know here so I won't keep bringing it up lol, but DH's brother & wife just named their baby Sophia Grace grrrr, but we still plan to use it!!
Mum-I see many are reading it as "Danielle," but as they've also said, once you tell people the name it won't be an issue! [emoji4]

Lucas will be our boy name. It's so much more common than our other boys names but I've always loved it!

Laurel-love your boy name, but believe you'll be using your girl name! [emoji4] So results are in...as in genetic/gender results???!!! Eeeek, that wait is the worst! Hope they call you back soon! Let us know!!!!
Sooo, I'm still on cloud 9, but now I'm slightly freaking...these nipt results are highly accurate right? My U/S is next Fri & I'll be almost 13 weeks, so I'm going to see if I can get a nub shot!!

Lola, you're having a girl!!! [emoji175] But I know what you mean. I woke up at 3am and couldn't get back to sleep. I started thinking about how I'm going to tell people I'm pregnant, what if it's a boy, worrying about birth defects, and just about everything else! I think I'll be stressing until I hold a healthy baby (girl) in my hands.

Pbn3 I was in the exact same situation as yourself regarding meds when expecting the twins I think due to extra high hormones in the second trimester and I chose not to take them. I now feel looking back, that was the biggest mistake I made. I was just a nightmare and couldn't control my emotions or anxiety. Luckily I've been ok in this pregnancy so far but if I wasn't I would definitely be doing what was right for me and my family and for us that would mean me taking them. If you think it will help -go for it.there is nothing worse than not being able to enjoy your pregnancy xx

Thank you mumoffourmonkeys! It's more the mood swings that are raising a red flag as they can go from extreme to extreme. The highs are good [emoji53] but the lows are terrible and I dont even know why I'm eperiencing lows [emoji52] I've only just started experiencing them again and day before yesterday was a terrible day and scarily familiar with my lows I went through last year hence my deciding to head things off now before they get worse. I refuse to fall apart in front of my boys again. I feel annoyed at myself for being like this but so very relieved I can do something about it! I'm so glad you are doing well this pregnancy [emoji3] and thank you for sharing your story. Between you and what others have said/shared I'm feeling so much better about my decision :)

Lola - yes i hope OB will be ok with it. And yes chances r i will go early my self.
I have to chose from middle eastern to asian indian names. I prefer short easy to pronounce names but most importantly with meanings that i love. No particular themes in our house. DD1 is Zoha and DD2 is Asna ( pronounced Us-naa) DD3 is Minha ( gift from God).

I am between Rania (achiever) liana ( soft spoken) aaria ( noble ) and Nuzha (pure, free of flaws).
I have a couple of boy names on my list since DD1's time, just in case

[emoji170](07) [emoji170](09) [emoji170](14)[emoji170](15)[emoji166] EDD 1-15-18[emoji166]Yes i am in the US Ash. But this is kind of standard. Use up sick days and all paid leave b4 giving unpaid maternity leave. And since i never need more than 4 weeks after my babies i have never had to use maternity leave. But this year if i use my paid leave i will loose 2 adult and 3 kid tickets for an overseas trip almost completely. Plus i wont have any leave left till next yr jan. As its 4 weeks every 12 months.
