I had a chemical pregnancy last month - I was expecting a normal/maybe heavy period, but it was shocking. So much nausea and pain. That's resolved now thankfully, but now I'm dealing with gastritis symptoms because I over-did it with the naprosyn on an empty stomach (was too nauseous to eat...) And I feel so so drained. The LE diet is not very gastritis friendly obviously, coffee/alcohol makes stomach pain worse, I was up eating milk and bread all night to settle it. Gah! I'll see my GP next week, hoping to hear is this is normal?? Thanks

I'm sorry for your loss. You may have a stomach bug that's upsetting your tummy. With my first chemical pregnancy I was shocked how much I bled. It was way heavier than my normal period and also rather painful...not to mention emotionally painful. With all of my chemical pregnancies I bled for over a week and a half. You may experience the same, but it depends. I hope you feel better soon.

My chemical was a slightly heavier period than normal and I did have some stomach-related symptoms like you're describing. I often have a very persnickety stomach in both very early pregnancy and also during AF so it was like it hit me very hard that month. I am hoping you're doing bette r now.
