Hello everyone ,
So nice to find your forum and like minded people who understand what it feels like to desperately want your dream gender !
I have 3 beautiful girls , two of them I tried swaying boy but I guess it wasn't ment to be. I am so happy they are here and healthy.
I am still wondering if the whole swaying thing really works.. How can one possibly control which sperm meets the egg when there are millions of them all going for it?!!!
This will be my last try and I'm extremely nervous . To think it will never happen just makes me too sad. I'm just looking at options at the moment to possibly go HT.Im convinced me and my hubby are not ment to make boys!! I'm in Australia so it all seems too difficult at the moment to figure out all the details. I'll have to do more research on here. What a wealth of knowledge there is on this site so I am greatful. My youngest is 11 months so I'll be waiting a little bit first . But not too long as I feel ill be too old and that will make it harder.
Anyway feel free to ask any questions about having/conceiving girls .... I'll be happy to help.

Best wishes to Everyone on their journey.❤️

Ahhh....a fellow Aussie blue swayer!!! :bluecheer::bluecheer::bluecheer:

Very interesting to hear you swayed with two of your girls. What were you doing to sway? Many of the strategies used on this site are different from some more traditional sway sites but to me the science behind this site makes more sense.

The HT option seems so daunting from here in Aust but there's such great info on the site that I'm sure you'll find lots of helpful info.

GL with your journey.

Hello ladies , nice to meet you on here.
Maybe I should post the information on the "how we got our girls " sticky . It may help in gaining overal data in the same place?? What do you think?

I have become a dream member but still awaiting access to the private forums. Look forward to learning more.

Ps. Where I live there seems to be a higher amount of girls born compared to boys. This is evident at my daughters school, kinder, library and play groups.. I often think there must be something more too it that's totally out of our control. .
What do you ladies think??

Yes post in that thread. I have posted in the how we got our boys thread.
Yes I've seen the same thing in some areas across qld and I definitely think there is some environmental and social influences at play with the gender ratio. I however see far more boys in the areas I have lived so conceiving a girl just seems impossible to me at times!

We may not fully understand the mechanisms involved but our results show that it is working. It isn't 100% and there is an element of luck involved but the odds of having the results we have had so far is 1 in almost 5000 (more about that here) http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/59132-coin-flips-random-thoughts.html and if you're a blue swayer and your husband does not smoke, you have even better odds than the site as a whole (many of our opposites are in couples where the husband smokes).

Everyone can make boys and girls. Your husband is made of XY cells that divide in his testicles to make half X and half Y sperm. I know people who got boys after 6-8 girls in a row. It is possible for every couple.

Please let me know how I can help!

Yes we've all observed that around the world - it's a combination of just that we may notice it more and our perceptions are off, but there are definitely trends in certain socioeconomic groups of having more boys and more girls so there's more to it than that. :)

Would you say in more impoverished third world countries where food supply and food source is harder to come by, that more girls would be born? You'd think so right? These countries surely must have a lot more girls than boys population wise.

No food , harder Times , more feeling of sadness and body thinks survival mode? This may sway... I read a study that said when the World Cup was on in a certain country more boys were conceived around that time as people felt more happy and possibly relaxed therefore more frequent bedding.. If I find the link I'll post it. I must be too sad!! Haha.... So definitely must be a combination of many different things ... But then I watch the video the 'great sperm race' and just think it really is not in our control!!!! So confused!!!

More sex during South Africa's World Cup meant more boys nine months on (http://theconversation.com/more-sex-during-south-africas-world-cup-meant-more-boys-nine-months-on-49443)

Yes, I've read that one before but always fine to post links like that!! But please understand that while the boy bump was real, the reason is sheer speculation. They don't know that it was because of more sex or sperm mobility, those are guesses. It could have been some other thing entirely like hormone levels or because everyone ate a lot of hot wings during the sporting matches. We just don't know any of it and so when we come across these kind of articles, where they take an interesting phenomenon and then attribute causes to it that they don't know, we have to take it with a grain of salt as to whether they are really on to something or not.

This is a bit hard to explain but no, it doesn't quite work like that. Firstly because even in poor countries, even in times of famine, there are plenty of people who are still well off, still eating enough to get and stay pregnant.

Additionally, as people become TRULY poor and impoverished, they stop ovulating (and we see that on here where people who are doing LE Diet even just a little too strictly, see their ovulation stop and are unable to get pregnant even if they are still ovulating, when their weight gets too low.) So people who might have had girls, stop getting pregnant at all. Fewer people overall might get pregnant in that type of situation but those that do are likely the ones in the best condition with the most food coming in.

So, the people who end up getting pregnant (either by choice - because who voluntarily chooses to get pregnant in a time of famine, only people who have at least a fairly adequate food supply would do that, or circumstance - they haven't stopped ovulating and are still able to conceive) are likely coming in more set for boys to begin with and this neat little mechanism seems to hold the gender ratio at about 50-50.

We do see in the nations around the equator, many of which are poor, a higher ratio of girls to boys conceived than is statistically expected. But it's only by a couple % points and not the drastic shift that you are thinking of.

I know this is older, but I just stumbled across it -- just to clarify, is your theory that even though the ratio might be skewed slightly towards girls in underprivelged places/famine or war stricken/so on, it still will fall somewhat in line with 50/50 just by rote of the people still ABLE to have children might be more set for boys?

I'm mostly asking because I'm wondering if that was (hopefully) the deal with me considering how easily I get pregnant. Maybe DD was a girl because of how hardcore into starvation/famine mode I was, and hopefully improved conditions really well bode well? Or should I not have still been swayed for a boy and just happened to be doing so many hardcore girl things anyway?

I don't know if "set for boys" IS actually a hyperfertility set point or not from stuff I've read, but your theory hopefully bodes well for a boy for me lol!

Yes and I have a much better explanation in one of my newer essays here: http://genderdreaming.com/forum/swaying-studies-and-scientific-research/62565-understanding-scientific-studies-swayers-2-famines-fertility.html#post960941
