I'm trying to decide whether or not to pay for a 4th gender scan as some of mine were early and the last one being at about 19wks. I've been talking to so many women who were told several times by ultrasound techs that they were having girls and they went on to have boys. How common is this? I've bought so much pink Im having a small panic attack. Here is some of my pics from 12+6 to 19wks. 3725437255372563725737258

I know I know I should relax and most of the time im fine and then i'll speak to someone with a story like that and today with it being 2 women i just couldnt cope lol if it was a boy he would be in pink clothes, in a pink car seat and with pink blankets for at least the first year lol

I prefer to guess from nub shots and your two line, lovely extended, nub shots are pretty much the exact looking nub pics that I learned to guess from many many years ago I am now very embarrassed to say!(9 years ago, omg!) It was a pic I posted for nub guessing on a different site which did indeed turn out to be a beautiful little lady for us:)

Saying that there have and will always be mistakes from ultrasounds, I do not think it in this case at all! So always keep receipts:) Spend the money booking a first baby photo shoot instead;)

Based on those pics and being told by the tech girl, I'd be pretty confident it's a girl.

If in the odd event that this was a little boy he wouldn't be bothered at all about the pink clothes and pink car seat.

Lol no I doubt he wouldn't but I would. That would be awful as much as I'd love him I'd be getting over the worst gender disappointment ever as from 13 weeks I've been told girl and the pink would just remind me of the baby I thought I was having and didn't not to mention everyone presuming he was a girl from the pink lol gosh that's the stuff of my nightmares right now. Really and truly I should of left it a surprise and cut out all this stress. Finding out it was a boy would of left me with gd but finding out its a girl has left me stressed just in a different way. I can't win lol hubby said last night I could pay for another scan but I figured I'd rather spend the money on a cute diaper bag but I'll keep the receipt lol

I'd be very confident that was a girl. I think you can spend and spend with joy! I would not bother with another gender scan because you have some very clear shots there and a classic girl nub.

That's a girl. Easier said than done, but try not to worry. I know I didn't fully believe the ultrasounds until my girl was born...still hasn't sunk in 8 weeks later LOL

While I'm still confident the baby is a girl, later scan are actually less accurate since everything is all squooshed in there. It's a girl though!

Please don't panic, that is meant to reassure you, because the earlier scan was a good one. :)
