AF returning after miscarriage?

Hello.
Just wondering (anyone who has experienced a late miscarriage)... when did AF return? I am currently 5 weeks out from my 20 week loss (natural-uncomplicated delivery) and still don't have my period. I just had my HCG/betas tested and it's negative at 1.2.

Waiting on her arrival to start TTC again with Clomid. ( My RE okayed it)
I have never been so excited to start AF!

We see results all over the map, some will come back within 4-6 weeks, some it takes more like 2-3 months (sorry!)

Sometimes they can give you something to kickstart AF coming and then you can take the Clomid - it's not a true period bleed but still acts as the "reset" so you can take the Clomid. If you get to 6 weeks I think it would be worth asking about.

My loss was at 20+1 on 10th October. AF returned on 31st December after that X

my loss was at 18 weeks (also a normal delivery with no induction or surgery etc) i dont think i got a period before falling pregnant again but the bleeding after went on forever, i was told it would stop after 3 days, when it didnt stop they started saying it could be a period, i wasnt convinced.. anyway i had her in january and fell pregnant the next month, hopefully yours comes back soon, its so frustrating waiting for it when all you want is to get on with ttc and be pregnant again, good luck! :)

You were right atomic! My Dr just prescribed me provera to jump start my cycle. [emoji4]
