Hi all,
I was just wondering if anyone knew if the solar eclipse at the end of August would have any impact on swaying for a girl? It is when the new moon starts but now I'm wondering if this will be the right month to try & conceive x

Things like solar eclipses happen so rarely that there would be no way any biological mechanism could have possibly evolved because of that. Things evolve because of constant pressure that helps organisms to survive (or not) and not random events that happen 1-2 times in a lifetime. If anyone could explain to me how being conceived during an eclipse could help a baby boy or a baby girl to survive to adulthood to pass down genes, I'm all ears.
And I'm not of the opinion that God would be that tricky. "Hey, I know what will really mess with their heads, I'll make eclipses cause them to have all boys or all girls." That's not how my God operates.
All the ion things they claim to be true on other sites are not proven and make no sense anyway (and I"d be happy to explain about that more in depth if you'd like.) Please don't worry about things that simply cannot possibly be true.

Here's an old thread I wrote a long time ago not about an eclipse but about solar flares and it all still applies.

You're welcome, let me know if you want the story about ions and why the "ion theory" makes no sense. :)
