An OPK is positive when the test line is as dark as or darker than the control line. Whenever that happens, that's when to BD but it sounds like you already had an attempt before it was positive.

Iv never used opks before. When I tested yesterday it was a faint second line so assumed that was a positive and DTD last night but when I tested today is a real dark line but not sure if I'm still suppose to DTD tonight or just hope that last night will be ok [emoji85]

If the OPK is positive now, I wouldn't BD because then you'd be in with two attempts in your fertile window.

A faint line is negative. Only when the line is as dark or darker than the control line is it positive.
I'd stick with the attempt you've had but do pick it up with the e4d after this to be sure you are covered in case you don't O for a few more days.

Saturday night :) or Saturday at some time. You count the day you DTD as day 1, then count to 4 and DTD on day 4. Hope that makes sense

Better odds of pink - Sunday

That comment confused me - I thought for TTC girl it's ed4? Wouldn't that make it best for a girl on Saturday? Why Sunday? If TTC a girl should we be pushing out? Many thanks

No, for TTC a girl it is best to have one attempt. E4d is just a simplified version of having one attempt in the fertile window. There is NO pink magic to having sex every 4th day, none whatsoever, the magic is in the one attempt. For most people, every 4 days (Saturday) is gonna be one attempt because by the time of Saturday attempt, Wednesday would ~probably~ be gone, but it for SURE will by Sunday.
Pushing it out for TTC a girl is BETTER for pink because it's more certainly one attempt. Having attempts closer may be better for conception, but may not be as surefire one attempt.
I know I need an essay on this, I am actually surprised at the interest in E4d quite frankly especially the last few weeks (to me, it is NOT something to start off with, but a
lot of people apparently do want to start off with it and I have to adjust my thinking on that) and so many questions makes it hard to write an essay. :)

That's interesting, what would you start off with? Diet changes?

I would start off with one attempt at positive OPK or 1-2 days before ovulation.
EVERYONE should do diet and if possible, exercise. I mean "start off with" in terms of BD patterns/number of attempts.
