Hello girls!
I have just started with the LE diet and have some questions.
As I have understood there is no forbidden food in the LE diet, except for possible meat and fish. Is that right? As long as you stay within the limits of calories, protein and fat (skip breakfast and stick to 3-4 meals / day when I am breastfeeding) is all food ok? Or is there food you should definitely avoid?

Yes, that's right. Some foods are better than others, and since you're a Dream Member you can access this thread: https://genderdreaming.com/forum/le-diet-info-general-posting-forum/466-myth-magic-foods-best-worst-food-guide.html in which I rate several different foods from A-D (there are no forbidden foods on LE Diet!)

You may find that some foods make it easier or harder to stick to diet. The main reason I like people to give up meat as much as possible is not because of how it sways per se, but because eating it makes it much harder to stick to the diet in the long term. Meat is high in protein, but relatively low in calories, so eating meat daily means you immediately go over on protein but have consumed only 300-400 calories. Then what do you eat for the rest of the day?? This ends up as a weird starvation diet in which people end up eating a chicken breast, cucumbers and gummy worms all day long and it's not a sustainable or healthy pre-pregnancy diet. So while you can have meat sometimes it makes some sense to get the majority of your protein intake from plant sources like legumes and nuts and grains, plus dairy and eggs. You get a lot more "bang for your buck" in terms of calories/protein. :)
