Hi!

I'm planning my girl sway (very much in advance, now that I have time ) and as it will be our last baby i'd like to try as much as possible to get a little girl.

I have Clomid 50mg for 2 months. My cycles have always been quite regular and I ovulate without problems, so I would take it just for swaying. I don't want to buy more as I don't fancy messing up with my hormones too much.
Did you get to ovulate with a low dose like 25 mg? Those who haven't ovulated on a Clomid cycle, is it because you didn't ovulate on your own anyway, or was it because of taking it?

So, the options i'm thinking of are:
- taking 50 mg for two months (1st month try one attempt at +OPK, 2nd month E4D and +OPK)
- 25, 25 and 50 in three months (1st month 1 attempt at +OPK, 2nd month E4D, 3rd E4D and +OPK)
- 4 months taking just 25 mg (2 months of 1 attempt at +OPK, 3rd E4D and 4th E4D and +opk).

DH hasn't got the best swimmers, so reducing the odds to two months makes me feel a bit discouraged... I know it still sways the month after, so that's a bonus. Plus, taking a lower dose makes me feel a bit better about the risk of having multiples, although I've seen in a spreadsheet that a woman conceived twins on 25mg.
What are your thoughts or experiences?

Thank you in advance and lots of pink dust! :)

I'm doing 50 mg clomid and e4d, but atomic usually recommends 1 BD on positive opk I think

Yes, she did recommend me that for the first month.
Just hadn't thought that if i take a lower dose i could do more cycles on it, but don't know if it's worth it or not.
Is it your first cycle with it? How are you feeling?

It is my first cycle, I'm felling some tenderness in my ovarian aérea, but I'm not sure it's real or it's just me. What I'm sure it's a side effect is I'm feeling soooo tired. I read it's a common side effect. Good luck!

Yes, I've had people use 25 instead to stretch out the amount of months on it (taking it just for swaying). WE do believe it still sways pink. It can still make twins too but may be less likely to.

I'd go with the 4 month option because I like you having 2 months on one attempt. :)

When we have the option (meaning, when someone wants to take 25 because they are scared of taking 50) then I'd have them take the 50. But this is a different situation - we only have the 2 months of 50 and so I'd have you take 25 instead so to give it a good try with other sway tactics. Some people, I'd have them take the 50 for 2 months instead but it's because there are a lot of variables at play. I think you're fine to do 25 for 4 months with the additional sway tactics.

That's what I was thinking but wasn't sure. I suppose that between swaying without clomid vs swaying AND adding 25mg of clomid would be better than nothing. The question i have is if it can stop me ovulating. Those women that don't ovulate on certain doses of it, is it because they don't ovulate on their own anyway?

I really trust more on the LE diet and the exercise, but i want all in to get the best chance.

Thank you!

Yes exactly, people who don't ovulate on Clomid typically have other stuff going on that is inhibiting ovulation. :)
