How does eating a lot of sweets sway? Say for someone like me who isn't eating meat, or dairy, no protein.... If if im skipping breakfast and eating something like 2 cookies and peppermint tea for lunch or skittles for a snack later.... Is that a nono or ok?

in theory it's good, the sugar will raise your blood sugar but it will crash again fast. Sweets can also be great empty calories and a good way of slowing down weight loss
skittles are good, as are marshmallows. Personally I'm eating a fair few choc bars too as I don't have much weight to lose, although choc bars do contain some things you shouldn't eat (bit of potassium, small amount of caffeine/antioxidants, some sodium depending on type of choc)

LOL well i have never been one to eat a lot of sweets but thats really all i have wanted lately. ice cream, candy, cookies... i don't know what's up with me lately. i didn't eat any sweets with any of my kids. right now i know i need to limit my calories so when it comes to lunch time i would rather have the cookie then strawberries or cucumber so that's what i go for.

I ate a lot of sweets on the LE diet - empty calories (and yummy ones too!).

You only need to limit calories to 1500-1800, no need to cut back any farther than that.
Sweets are fine on the LE Diet for all the reasons everyone already mentioned. Here's my sweeteners essay that explains the hows and whys.http://genderdreaming.com/forum/showthread.php?2038-Sweetening-up-your-sway!-For-pink-and-blue
and an essay that talks about candy and has a few recipes. http://genderdreaming.com/forum/showthread.php?2735-sweets-and-treats-for-pink

I'm assuming that's because you have 6 gorgeous boys queen-of-harts? Just asking because I am also a huge fan of ice cream too (and sugar in general). I have actually cut back on the sugar alot but still allow myself a bit of icecream everynight. :)

Yes! I think the fat and calcium and all that stuff screams "nutrients" to my body so i would look for something more "empty" when i need sweets.I also am not a fan of calcium in girl sways,i ate a ton, took supps my last time ttc and i swear it hurt more than it helped.

According to my opinion too much eating sweat is the cause of overweight. So we must avoid the excessive use of sweats and do the exercise regularly.

We are not eating sweets to try and lose weight, we are doing it to control our blood sugar levels and lower them by using insulin response.
The rules are different for swaying pink, because we are not eating for optimal health, in fact we want to slightly reduce our fertility overall and sugar is one tactic we can use to do that.
