And she says the only thing she did different was she never drank coffee with the boys and does now and she was away from her hubby for a week and he was happy to see her again lol I never drink coffee but is it allowed on the the LE and girl diets?

I drank coffee all the time with my first 2 DD's. Not sure if it's part of LE but I would assume it would be considered girl-friendly since large amounts of caffeine are not considered good for fertility.

I drank lots of coffee and still had a DS. I am going to cut it out and just do peppermint tea instead.

I started drinking coffee a couple of times for my girl sway - never drank it before (I'm a tea drinker) but it helped stop me from eating in the mornings and I added sweetner. I didn't make DH stop drinking it either as I feel it's fine because it's bad for fertility!

I did drink two cups of coffee during some cycles while swaying, now Iīm back to decaf because there are studies that say coffee increases changes of miscarriage, but I stopped drinking real coffee especially because it makes me feel VERY goal orientated and wanting to take on challenges and resolve them succesfully immediately...after a cup of coffee I have at least 3 new projects on my mind and go off to start or tackle them right away, so for me I think thatīs how caffeine might make my T go up.

Coffee is totally allowed on LE :agree: but NOT on IG, FGD, PGD.

Pretty much everyone I know with a lot of girls are HUGE caffeine addicts, both the hubbies and the wives.

That is also something that kept coming up on IG and a lot of the pink mamas reported very high caffeine intake and did not want to give that up for their blue sway.

Caff can slightly increase odds of miscarriage.

You are right Indira, coffee can make you feel goal oriented too so it's good that you noticed that and took steps. :agree: For me, when I drink coffee I want to do a lot of things but usu end up quivering in a pile on the floor and very ineffective at actually accomplishing anything other than buzzing around like a worried hummingbird.

I drank only tea for DS 3 and 4 and mostly tea with DS 1 and 2.

Like AS, I'm a tea drinker now. Always black tea with sugar and creamer 3x a day. I drank lattes when I got pregnant with my boys....Hmmmm.

It may be the CHANGE that matters and not any food/drink per se. Anything you do different, makes your body sit up and take notice. No magic foods!!!

I think coffee with aspartame is a great option. You can even use sugar if you don't eat for a while afterwards (but this can be hard.) Milk/cream is at your discretion (technically, it's prob. best to skip it but I don't think that will make or break anyone's sway) as long as you count it in your calories for the day. Nondairy creamer is another option for pink.
