View Full Version : Lots of EWCM on clomid?

This is my last day of clomid, first cycle using it. I did 3-7. Just went to pee and saw a large amount of EWCM. I thought I'd be "dryer" on clomid.
Does this mean anything???
Thanks

Nope. Happens to lots of people. The dryness is a) not a desirable thing anyway and b) takes months to develop.

I'm not totally sure I follow this question but we have seen quite a lot of EWCM opposites going all different directions (boys that "should" be girls, girls that "should" be boys, successes that "should" be opposites, and vice versa) that I no longer believe the amount of CM really truly tells us what gender we are going to conceive. I had visible EWCM when I conceived my daugther and NONE when I got my 4th son (and I was checking like a madwoman 2-3 times a day and had so little I did not even know I had ovulated.) So I just can't wrap my brain around the idea that it is some sort of predictive force like we once hoped that it would be.

So I am not saying it is "ok", after all, many people DO see dramatic changes in their CM levels on diet, but I do not think it predicts the gender of the baby you are going to conceive, and I suspect that it is possible, if not likely that there are changes in EWCM that sway even though we cannot see them with the naked eye. Meaning it may be pink friendly or blue friendly and we just can't tell that based on the amount we have and when we have it. :)

Sorry, you completely Answered my question regardless!

I ask just because even on the diet I do have ewcm when I ovulate but now I know not to stress!

^^^ and forgot to mention that we are also seeing NO benefit from antihistamine, meant to "dry up" CM. If drier CM really did anything we should at least see SOME benefits, but the same number of people are getting girls with and without them.
