Hey everyone! I hope Im posting in the right place...I have a little boy and hubby and I plan to only have one more, so im DESPERATE for a girl. Ive been trying to maintain an acidic diet and have been taking vitex, maca, calcium/magnesium, and a prenatal. Ive been reading about the timing for swaying and also monitoring pH. I just bought some pH test strips and repHresh which should be here in the next day or two. Ive also read about splime but and found that to be intriguing but saw conflicting advice on whether to do it along with the repHresh or not. Can anyone give me a little insight?? So many things have SO MANY abbreviations and acronyms that is hard to decipher for a newb lol
Should I be doing anything differently as far as diet and supplements?? What about the splime/repHresh combo?? If I *should* try splime, how do I go about it?? I got the general concept down, but im looking for an actual instructional on exactly what to do lol A splime for dummies maybe?? HAHA! Thanks all!

The sway tactics you're doing are very different than what we do here and are old school ones we've found don't work. Supplements like cal/mag and prenatal vitamins sway blue. You can take folic or folate though. pH doesn't sway and can prevent pregnancy so don't bother with that. Ask atomic about maca and vitex. I'm pretty sure she's not really suggesting then anymore. I don't know what splime is. Rephresh may just keep you from conceiving.
What we're going for is declining maternal condition to sway pink. The LE diet is a big pink sway tactic and is 1500-1800cals, 50-60g protein, 30-60g fat. There are no foods that are off limits but it's best to avoid high nutrient fortified foods like cereal or oats or red meat. 12+ weeks on diet, 60 min cardio 4+ days per week, coffee, alcohol, fiber, one attempt at pos OPK, and Clomid are all great pink sway tactics.
Look under any of Atomic's posts. She has links to all the sway info but getting a custom plan is a good idea if you feel very lost.

Hi and welcome LynseyLoo.
I know it's confusing but the thing is most of us on here have opposites doing all that stuff. We came together here on this site to try and find ways that would work better with fewer miscarriages and quicker times to conception and over time it's become apparent that many of those things either do not work or can even sway BLUE.
Our version of diet is here: https://genderdreaming.com/forum/trying-to-conceive-a-girl/16780-low-everything-diet-nutshell-version.html It is MUCH easier to follow and healthier than the other sway diets so if you've felt in the past you can't stick with a sway diet, try this one instead. 12 weeks or more has gotten best results. The "acidic" diets DO NOT WORK and tons of people have gotten opposites with them. https://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/11684-ph-pickle.html
Also add in cardio exercise 60 min a day, 6-7 days a week if you possibly can as that has been one of our best tactics.
Maca and prenatals probably sway blue and I'd ditch those (be sure to wean off prenatal slowly, don't just drop it.)
Vitex may sway pink but has really messed up people's cycles and seemed to lower odds of conception hugely. plus our success rates were only about 55% with it (disappointing)
Calcium/magnesium at your discretion but many of us, myself included, got boys while taking them. Do NOT add in Vit. D along with them as that has swayed strongly blue.
Don't mix splime and RepHresh. That can harm sperm and may make pH spike anyway.
Timing is up to you if you want to use it, many of us have opposites and it has been totally debunked though https://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/7691-trouble-timing.html The most important thing is one attempt, for reasons we can only guess at, one attempt was very pink friendly.
I personally don't believe in pH stuff (explained in one of the essays I posted) but I did write up an easy to follow how to on douching and splime here. http://genderdreaming.com/forum/showthread.php?866-Guide-to-Douching-TTC-Pink Hope it helps.
