ELP's confrimed boy nub pics, interesting selection!

I have a vast selection of boy nub pics from this recent pregnancy, some of them looking very girly depending on the angle!! So sometimes you are definately not seeing the entire picture!! The 1st pic is from 12 weeks, the rest are from 13 weeks. I've added the 13 potty shot aswell and the videos from the 13 week scan:)

But as you can see the top 3 pics, well what would you have guessed??!!!

I've got no idea when it comes to nubs but would have guessed boy based on the last pic

Exactly- I think nub guessing is bogus. I would have guessed 'girl' based on traditional advice, but I now think there are way too many girl guesses. I looked on IG for some hope (I had a girly nub- but lots of bulk on the tip) and on almost every page there was a girly looking nub on the confirmed boys.

There are some really boyish nubs- and those are hard to deny- but how can these even be the same baby in some ways! :)

Exactly Spicy. I do believe in nubs being accurate but it definately 100% comes down to walking out of that scan room with the right piccy in your hand. I'm wondering if it comes down to more of where the fork is in alot of pictures. I'm noticing that if the fork is disconnected on top its boyish and if its disconnected underneath then girl. Because there are some very flat white lines like pic 2 above and the link I'm gonna post that scream girl apart from the little white dots, so nothing to do with angle really:agree: So ladies if your interested in nub guesses I'd recommend getting a private scan at 13 weeks and walking out with the right picture:agree:

Agree. They can be accurate, but you probably need to get someone who looks around a bit and sees it from all angles. I saw mine for like 5 seconds in and out, and it did look girly. It probably is a girl, but maybe 75% girl, and a little chance for boy. I can't believe that your scans are from the same baby!

I saw that link- and I thought it was boy, but I do still think that boys can have girly nubs at 13 weeks. Think how different each baby is in developing at any certain point. :)

We are not seeing the whole nub in the 1st and 3rd pic. All the others look blue. Love the potty shot, lol. So happy for you, hun!

Can someone have a look at mine? (posted on the first page of ultrasound gender determination for guesses). It was 13w + a couple days. I feel like it's right in between the angle percentages. I just read a study posted in the sticky above, and it was rare for girls to have a 25 or so angle at 13w like mine does, but most boys were also angled more than 25%, so I have no idea. Maybe I'm not measuring the angle correctly?

Hi ELP, congrats on bub, gorgeous piccys. Funny though isn't it, the flat nub and curved spine, if it were straightened out, you would think it would indicate girl but I think the potty gives it away. Thank you for sharing too, I think it just gives me a little hope too that I may get my boy even though my pics are a real 50/50 and could go either way. xxx take care

Hello baby2:) I've just been comparing your 2nd pic to these myself, and I think they are very similar, I voted boy on your thread. I'll have a look through my other pics as Im sure there is some which look even more similar to yours! Whens your next scan?

Just had a quick look and the best pic I have is my already posted pic 2. But what I see in yours is the same flat bright white line, with the little tell tale white dot at the top missing! My vote is definately on blue for you.

I also voted :diaper: for her, I hope we are right!!!! ;)So do I!!:agree: just had a look through the videos I was given, but none of them show what I was looking for, darn! I'm sure in my scan there was loads of times with just the white line showing with the clear boy bit missing, but we didn't record any grr! Even the > shape below baby2's bright white line nub looks like my pic 2's > shape under it, it only takes the slightest of twists from the body to the boy bit making it look girly doesnt it!
