Ubiquinol during treatment?

Dear all,

I've just started taking ubiquinol in order to hopefully improve my egg quality a bit 0:-)

To those of you who were prescribed it by their clinics: Did your clinic advise you to stop taking it once you start taking meds/stimming or did they say you should continue until retrieval day?

Thanks a million and lots of baby dust to us all :-)

Continue through stims, but I think I was told to stop at last ultrasound at HRC, which is 2 days before retrieval.

Any recent ladies from HRC, does that sound right?

Thank you so much!!

I read the book "It started with an egg" and there, they say you should stop as soon as you start stimming.
As I'm only doing timed intercourse, no real HT, it'd be stupid if I couldn't take anything during stimming because I'm always either stimming or in the TTW, so I would never be able to take it (unless I didn't try it for a cycle or two - which would be a daft thing for an oldie to do as you never know when you might have a healthy egg, and it'd be stupid to waste a chance). If I know I can take it while I'm taking meds, I can at least take it for two weeks, stop for two weeks and then start from scratch again when I get a BFN :-P

SFH I'm TTC naturally now and still taking ubiquinol, I used to take coq10 before this whole fertility ordeal, so I just replaced it after reading it starts with an egg. I don't think it hurts to take it in the 2WW too, just stop if you get a BFP

Please just take it until BFP and then gradually wean off by spacing doses further and further apart till down to one per week, then you can drop.
