you could probably switch to a vegetarian diet - that would help!
PS. moving your topic into the TTC a Girl forum

you have plenty of time to plan things to perfection, though :)
if you have weight to lose try not to lose too much in advance, you need to have enough left to keep losing whilst TTC and in the couple of months before

One very important thing you could start doing now is charting your cycles. If you aren't already doing it, go to fertilityfriend.com and get started. Chart your BBT, CM and cervix position. Then when you are ready for your attempt you will have an awesome grasp on your body and your cycle. That will make a lot of the swaying process so much easier. Good luck to you!

Yep, great advice. learn your ov signals, when your cm changes compared to your +opk's! This to me was important as it showed I ov'ed fast:agree: Plus read and re-read everything, find your own opinion on the calcium aspect, and watch the results come in from current swayers, best of luck:)

The problem is though that if you do things too far in advance, you may lose the advantage of "shocking" your body. we don't KNOW that it is important to shock your body, but it just seems to make sense that over time, you get used to things and they become less effective for swaying. Strict diet and supps fall into this category - by the time your sway rolls around in a year, your body will be totally used to everything going on.
I echo Rainbowflower that the main thing you can start to do NOW is switch to a vegetarian diet or at the very least give up red meat and start eating less fat overall - 20-30% of your day's calories from fat. This will slowly help lower your testosterone levels.
Tracking your cycles can be good if you want to include timing and even just to help you get pg.
Some people have done vitex far in advance of a sway, taking it from AF-O only. you might want to give that a try, but again, I don't know if it is as effective taken in the long term or if you start to get used to it.
