OK, so I've been on the diet since November - overall I've lost a stone, BMI 17.5 and have had really irregular cycles and much less EWCM, some cycles hardly any at all since being on the diet - last month I didn't ovulate until something crazy like day 26! Clearly, I've not conceived yet. In the two week wait I was on holiday so decided to eat normally, still not really snacking but lots of meat, ice-cream etc and slacked off on the exercise quite a bit - oddly, I didn't actually put on much weight (maybe a pound) but this cycle I'm on day 15 and I've got LOTS of EWCM and a nearly positive/possibly positive OPK so my question is: have I managed to improve my fertility too much and now will sway blue? Thinking of either trying tonight or tomorrow but worried about ovulating so much earlier and the EWCM meaning that I'm in blue territory now. HELP!!

*UPDATE - we just decided to go for the attempt. What will be will be!

I would have DEMANDED you have an attempt, I'm so sorry I did not see this in time!! So very thankful and relieved you had the attempt anyway!! :)

onelastsway your holiday chill out time may be the difference between you getting pregnant this month and not getting pregnant :) saying this as i was bridesmaid at a friends wedding the month before my bfp last year and had to throw the LE diet out the window for a few days while i was there, at the set wedding meal i ended up eating a steak for the first time in literally years!! 2 of the 3 courses were meat, it was also the first time id had 3 courses in one sitting in forever too, as well as eating breakfast with everyone the morning of the wedding and the day after. it was honestly the most food id put down in a looong time haha! and the first time id had that much meat since well before i began on LE diet.

anyway.. point being i got bfp the following month (i conceived 3 weeks after the wedding) and our pink sway was successful, so a few days of extra food or a steak or just relaxing on the whole thing for a trip away or a wedding wont wreck it :) in your case it really sounds to me like this month is promising for a bfp with that earlier ovulation after such long cycles and id still say your very pink friendly with all that time on diet etc which is what really counts fingers crossed for you!! good luck!! xx

Ha! Now having the weirdest ovulation pain/cramps. I usually get very mild ovulation pain for a short time but had it all last night and today like quite bad period pain and generally just feel rubbish. What a strange cycle this is! Looks like I hopefully got an O-2 attempt in anyway - fingers crossed for a temp rise to confirm as had so many months of delayed ovulation it'd be nice not to have a ridiculously long cycle for a change!

Thank you, that is good to hear. I had a good long think about it all whilst walking (getting my 60 mins cardio in!) and I've completely changed my lifestyle and done all that I possibly could for my sway so what will be will be. If I'm ever lucky enough to get pregnant again (I'm finding it hard to believe it'll ever happen now to be honest) then, boy or girl, it'd be a blessing. Thanks again x
