First off, let me say I am amazed by you ladies. It is so encouraging to read your stories and attempts. For me, I have girl, boy, boy, boy and are wanting to add another girl. I have been loosely following the LE diet for a couple of months. (Vegetarian, little to no dairy, no supplements) Have lost a little weight, and find it incredibly hard to exercise for the recommended time. (Moving/homeschooling/chaos)

So onto today. I got an unexpected positive OPK this afternoon. (3 more days until my usual positive) We dtd on Thursday evening. Would that be our one attempt? Or should we add on this evening? I do not want to shoot myself in the foot by accidentally swaying boy.

We actually weren't even shooting for this month but why not!? We're only closing on our home in 10 days, moving a family of 6 into a home we are currently renovating. [emoji15][emoji51][emoji51] Thank you SO much in advance!!!

If you got a pos opk today (sunday) and last BD on Thursday then that would be your one attempt but it doesn't give you great odds (although it's still possible to get pregnant from it...I have!!!). So what I would do is BD Monday, that way you won't end up with just an O-3 attempt which is viable but not great odds of conception. Doing it that way, you'd likely end up with either an O-4 and O day attempt, or an O-5 and O-1 attempt or If you happen to O same day then just the O-3 attempt. Usually women ovulate 24-48 hours after first pos opk. If you don't want to have the attempt the day after your pos opk then you'd just stick with the O-3 attempt you had and hope for the best. Good luck!

Oh but if you weren't really planning on TTC just yet, then maybe just stick with the Thursday attempt and see what happens. It's your call though!

Hi and welcome hannah!!

So yes just to echo ks that is going to be pretty slim chances of conception and so you have to ask yourself if you prefer a lower chance of conception for possible better chances of pink, or if you want to boost odds of conception for possibly lower odds of pink (but still good odds of pink!)

Well, I guess even with slim chances of conception, this baby was just meant to be. Praying that it's a girl and I didn't totally screw this up. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171001/31bea0b236021a46e060a5a83e212f66.jpg
