Hi there! So we are planning on ttc next cycle (hopefully if dh doesn't change his mind!), and will start clomid next cycle.

I think I read on here to expect ovulation 5 to 10 after last pill, right? My ovulation is pretty regular, I usually get a +opk between CD 11 and 14. But I know it'll be different. When did u ovulate when u were on clomid? This is really important, because dh travels a lot for work and we don't dtd that often so will have to be planned down to the hour lol.

What days do I take it? Is it 2 to 6, or 3 to 7?

Lastly, I'm a little worried about hyperstimulation. What should I look out for?

Sorry for all the questions! :)

This month (my 3rd cycle taking it) i changed the dosage as per my Dr and it seems to have changed my ovulation date as well.
I think it's supposed to up your ovulation date...but sometimes it doesnt.

What dosage are you on?
Are you being monitored by a dr?

Average of 5-10 days but I see more at the tail end of that time. Just like Robin says it's entirely possible and quite common to O later than that.

If you're on 50 mg hyperstimulation is pretty rare. I wouldn't worry about it, I have only ever had one person with that issue and she had been given 150 mg with no monitoring by a really lax doctor even though she was ovulating on 50!?! You will know if you have OHSS going on, trust me. You'd gain a bunch of weight in a matter of hours and feel really really bad (and it's a medical emergency so go to the ER if it happens) But like I said, it is not something we tend to ever see on here.

I would be inclined to have an attempt when hubby is at home. Just whenever he shows up, be in with an attempt, and then that way you don't have to worry if he's gone for a while, you'll be covered for at least a day or so.

I prefer CD 3-7, I feel like we get best results for conception with that.
