So I've been swaying girl for exactly 6 months. LE (mostly PCOS version) diet, 5 days/week of 60 min exercise (only 4 days/week since m/c happened), completely vegetarian until m/c, lots of alcohol & coffee, and I've lost about 33 lbs in total. I had an early m/c at the end of August and have now had one full cycle since that miscarriage.
Since starting sway back in March, I've noticed that pretty much NOTHING has changed about my cycles. I have always had super, super regular cycles. They are almost exactly the same as before I started sway & the same as when I conceived my two boys: 23-25 days long, ovulation between days 13-15, 10-11 day LP. The heaviness of AF is pretty much the same - AF was a little lighter when I first started diet/exercise but has since gone back to normal & is usually about 4 days long. It was exactly 25 days from the start of my recent m/c to start of next AF, and I ovulated exactly 14 days after m/c started. AF after m/c has been completely normal in heaviness. I also struggled some with acne before starting sway - it cleared up almost completely in the first several months of diet but in the past two months or so (since before BFP) has started to return a bit - not nearly as much as before, but I'm getting more zits lately esp around AF.
I just went for my first hormone test today (CD day 3 test) b/c doctor is a little concerned about my short LP (which I have always had and it caused me no problems in getting pregnant w/ my boys). What just seems odd to me is that with all these huge changes - diet, weight loss, exercise, even the stress & hormonal changes with the pregnancy/miscarriage - everything seems to be staying the same with my cycles! It makes me wonder (and makes me very nervous) that maybe swaying is not doing anything to make my body more "girl friendly". I know I have the short LP and just had a m/c but I seem to be as fertile as ever! (we got pregnant this last time on the 2nd month, versus on the 1st month w/ each of my boys). Am I being totally paranoid/ wrong about that? Are there possibly more underlying changes to make me "girl friendly" than what I'm seeing? I just worry that the consistency and determination of my body to keep things the same means I'm going to have a harder time getting a successful sway. If I get Clomid (hoping that will be the results of these hormone tests), I know that could force more changes, but I just think it's SO strange that nothing seems to be changing with my cycles.
Has anyone who has gone through a long girl sway who didn't see many changes to cycles still end up getting a girl??
