Can someone talk some sense into me

Pregnant after swaying for a girl
Already making myself go crazy with all the wives tales etc
Have done the ring test which obviously showed boy
Also dreamt of a boys name last night
Overthinking every symptom, every craving
Googling everything

Can someone sensible please come along and tell me they mean nothing and I could still be having a girl?

God I wish I could just have a pregnancy I can enjoy without the anxiety and worrying

Oh like totally underhand why you'd be feeling like that and I would be the same, BUT I know for a fact that all those wives tales and research etc means nothing. Everyone is different and every pregnancy is different!! People swore I was carrying a girl because of how my bump was. We were team green and people would say oh it's definitely a girl. I had a boy. I also dreamt of having a girl multiple times. And no matter what people say or think or you think it doesn't change what's in there, so don't stress about what's out of your hands!! And it's always going to be out of your hands unfortunately so try to enjoy being pregnant :) and congrats on being pregnant! And I hope it's pink! Xox

Thankyou! I needed to hear that!
I drove myself crazy when I had my son, got upset when a symptom or wives tale pointed to a boy
But so happy when it said girl...
I also had dreams of a girl
So I KNOW they are a load of crap but I cannot stop myself getting obsessed
Didn't find out with him so it was a anxious 9 months (which kills me now because he is the light of my life) but I'm ganna find out as soon as possible this time so I can prepare myself!!
Also going to ban myself off google, getting tempted to do the Chinese calendar, online 'tests' symptom predicted etcetc

Old wives tales are just that...tales. There's no rhyme or reason to them. I should have had a girl according to those but I have three boys. If you're before 10 weeks, there's not even a difference between boys and girls because the Y chromosome isn't even activated yet. Symptoms aren't reliable anyway. All of my pregnancies were different, especially DS3's. Dreaming of a boy or girl isn't reliable either. With DS2 I had a dream I was told girl at my scan then with DS3 I had many dreams of him being a girl. With DS1 I dreamed he was gender neutral. LOL If anything these dreams are a reflection of either our wants or fears. A ring or necklace or whatever absolutely cannot predict your baby's gender with certainty. It has a 50% chance of being right anyway. You have every chance of having a girl, especially with swaying. You also have only had one boy so you may not even be set for boys anyway! Try to not stress out and just enjoy your pregnancy. Boy or girl, I have no doubt your little one will be so loved.

You literally cannot tell anything from symptoms because boys do not even make testosterone yet. There is nothing different at this point in time between boys and girls.

The only time I ever dreamed of having a girl (a whopping 2x) was when I was pregnant with a boy.

I've seen the ring test be wrong for tons of people.
