I've been a vegetarian or pescetarian most of my life and have recently jumped on the plant based way of eating. And actually, it's a high carb/low to no fat diet of sorts.
If I eat within limits, is this still a sway despite carbo- loading on potatoes and pasta with little fat?
I'm definitely losing weight since cutting out cheese and dairy! I eat tons of veggies and legumes, breads and crackers, some fruit and of course, wine!
I'm curious where this may fall in the realm of girl swaying or if it's too "healthy". Does my body think it's getting more nutritious food even though it's low fat and lower calories and losing weight?
Any other plant based girl swayers/girl moms out there?

I'm vegan too! So is my hubby! It's so great to meet other vegan/ plant based diet girl swayers!!!!
I've been doing the LE PCOS diet (vegan style) and have been having lots of beans/lentils to try to reach the required protein goals. I used to have lots of smoothies and juices which were really rich in protein and nutrients but have dropped those as they are so boy friendly, but I'm a bit worried about all the beans I'm eating. I was thinking of switching to grains like spelt or brown rice, but that would really increase my carbs although it would lower my nutrients.
I was looking back at the threads I vegans who swayed girl, but I've not seen a successful one.

I've been sticking to apples. Pears are OK too on the PCOS version. Not sure on the standard LE diet though.

Yes, I feel like veganism is too "healthy" for a girl sway since beans, quinoa, veggies n fruits are nutrient dense and subsitutes like white rice and less nutrient veggies are better.
Maybe someone with more experience and a successful girl sway will chime in!

This is more in reference to the previous post and not necessarily directed at the poster. I really wish people would stop saying to not eat certain foods because they're too healthy. If you choose only low to no nutrient foods, you won't be able to get or stay pregnant. All foods are fine within limits. I feel like some people take it to extremes and only eat cucumbers and white bread then spend months trying to conceive but can't. Also it's best to not obsess over "good" foods and "bad" foods when swaying pink because 1.there are no good or bad foods and 2.getting crazy obsessed over whether or not you can eat a certain food is just going to help sway blue.
Regarding eating more plant based foods in the original post, personally I don't think the body would see that as an improvement in condition IF you're eating less fat, protein, and cals than you were before doing LE. If you have PCOS or think you may, it might be wise to add in a little full fat dairy. As always, Atomic is THE person to give advice on all this. This is all just based on my experiences here as a former swayer.

Thanks for your advice! We are all just trying to create the best sway plan for our lifestyle as possible and I think wondering if choosing more nutritious foods over less nutritious ones even though it might fit within guidelines is still a valid question - not sure if that is specifically addressed by atomic beyond "there are no magic foods" which is the original intent of my question.
I took on plant based veganism for health and not for a sway tactic so I'm just trying to see if I need to tweak my diet any further.

Me too Geauxme. I became vegan for health reasons over 6 years ago, so adding animal protein into my diet isn't an option for me.
I do value your comments ksmom. I feel like I could get overly obsessed with 'declining maternal conditions', end up going overboard, not falling pregnant and then having to backtrack and end up swaying blue. It's good to hear from swayers to help keep us on the right track.

Hi Geauxme and thanks for your patience.
The issue is NOT that the diet is healthy. While we started off thinking that the small amounts of nutrients in fruits and veg may sway it turns out that they really do not seem to (as part of an overall LE Diet, anyway) and we've had tons of people get girls while eating quite a lot of them.
The real problem is that you NEED fat in order to get and stay pregnant. So you need to be getting fat from someplace, 30 g of it minimum (our minimum used to be 25 but people couldn't O on that.)

Limits and avoiding highly fortified foods are what matter. So possibly stay away from things like energy bars, cereal, etc.
Now if you have a choice and everything is equal between a more and less nutritious thing, like an apple instead of a mango or something then go wiht the least nutritious but overall we've seemed to find that it really doens't seem to make any difference no matter how hard you hit the fruit and veg.

ALL foods, including ALL fruits and vegetables, are fine and allowed on LE Diet both versions.

:agree: yes yes if I could go back in time knowing what I know now about how far some people take things, I would have chosen my words with way more care because tons of people have made themselves sick not eating enough on LE Diet. I would not have even called it Low Everything Diet.
ALL foods are allowed on LE Diet. You do not need to be unhealthy or starving on LE Diet.
Everything you list is fine to eat. Many have eaten those foods and gotten girls.
