View Full Version : Best ph test strip brand?

We have 6 months b/f our sway starts, but I have chronic bv and yeast and want to monitor my ph for quite a while to have the most effective sway. The Hanna one isn't in my budget. Any one of you ladies can reccommend ph test strips off amazon or another sight that are reliable? Amazon has some mixed reviews of the strips on there. Also, how do I test? Just stick the strip up my vag, or get out some discharge with my finger and place on strip?

pH ion ones although they never worked for me either :(

I used pHion brands and they worked good for me, but I know a lot of people have had bad results. :/

Just to put your mind at ease, I would never buy a Hanna either. I've seen too many people freaking out over pH going from 4.1 to 3.89 and I wish I was making that up.

I got mine from Dick Smiths although not sure if that is an australian only company? Atomic, yes it isn't worth stressing over to the very last . hey! I often just round up to the nearest whole number :) DH pH yesterday was 8.2 so I am happy to say he is between an 8-8.5 :)

Thanks ladies! I really just want mine to stay low to prevent infections (and I can tell DH that's the *reason* I'm ordering them ;)

If I can get mine to below 6, that'll be great. I plan on douching, replensing, and lime tamponing like crazy when them time comes...as well as diet. I'm gonna get my girl! i can feel it :) Woo! Let's do this!

Anyone else out there have a brand of strip that worked for them???
