I am just curious if anyone else had weight loss during their pregnancies? I will be 12 weeks Thursday and I have lost 18 lbs so far. I literally believe I had already gained that much by this point with all 3 of my sons. I feel really concerned. At 9 weeks they said the baby was measuring correctly. But now I don't have another sonogram until 20 weeks! Ive had alot of trouble eating with terrible food aversions. Has anyone else experienced this?

Have you felt sick/morning sickness? I lost a lot of weight in first trimester although not 18lbs, because I had no appetite due to sickness! Gained 4 stone after that though lol!

I lost 25 lbs in my first trimester with my oldest due to morning sickness. I gained it all back and more in the second and third :)

Most of my pregnancies I have lost 20 lbs before I started gaining it back. My Dr was never concerned. I was just that sick in the beginning. This time I have finally gained 5 lbs over my starting weight and I am almost 35w.

I lost weight when I was pregnant with my little boy! Managed to put on some in the second and third trimester but even when I gave birth I wasn't exactly heavy!
This pregnancy I've already put on quite a lot, think mainly because I'm loving being able to eat what I want again after doing the LE diet!

Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkThe first 2 weeks I gained a few lbs because I think my body was in shock when I ditched the LE diet. Well by week 4 its been downhill ever since! ;/ weightloss, sickness etc. And when I do feel hungry the only foods my body can stand are some of the bland foods I ate on the LE diet, so weird! I just wonder if this huge difference is because of the gender, but I wont get my hopes up!

I just want to eat everything! I can't stop binging! But I know it's purely because of the diet! I felt so miserable on it I'm eating everything I couldn't before!
To be fair I lost a lot of weight on LE so I'm very glad to be putting it back on!
So I'm also trying not to get my hopes up as it's the opposite to my little boy, with that pregnancy I felt so ill and couldn't eat

I have a feeling it's another boy tho [emoji51] just trying to not even think about it until I find out!
What's meant to be will be as they say x

Eat whatever it takes. Even if it's M and M's you HAVE TO get some nutrition into you. What are your docs doing for you to help????

What are your docs doing for you to help????I have been eating 1 meal a day and 1 or 2 snacks all healthy stuff that i can stomach at the time. I just started adding lemon to my water to see if it helps. Unfortunately im having a hard time keeping any of it down. They just tell me to take the diclegis daily and stay hydrated. I have another appt on Friday for my 12 weeks. I want them to do a scan because if the baby is growing fine i will worry less but they dont have one scheduled. :/

My friend ended up having to stay overnight in hospital on fluids when she couldn't keep anything down (baby was fine) are you hydrated?

I have been doing pretty good at staying hydrated after having to already once be admitted at 6 weeks to get fluid so ive been forcing down the water. They will check my urine tomorrow to sure tho

So apparently I messed up and my appt isn't until the 20th. I have no idea how I convinced myself it was tomorrow! Blah good news is I ate pretty darn well today. I will knock on wood and say maybe now that I hit 12 weeks its going to get better?

It usually does, and if not they will be more proactive. Sometimes the docs are a little lackadasical with weight loss in the first tri but if it continues they'll medicate you for the nausea.
