I'm not new to temping and charting my cycle. I usually have very low temps before O, like 96-97. These past couple of days my temps have been 98.2 and 97.8. My period ended on Monday, and my cycles are usually 29-31 days. I'm confused and now I'm worried that something is wrong. Has this happened to anyone else?

Temps can vary from cycle to cycle. I've had the odd cycle where my temps are higher than normal. Any chance you're coming down with something? It could just be a change in hormones causing the higher temps. Other factors like stress, change in room temp, change in sleep patterns can affect it as well.

Actually I've had a cold this week, sore throat and cough. I wonder if my temp is reflecting that.

That's probably what it is then. Temps go up when we're sick to fight it off.

some people have found their temps change with swaying. While I put very little stock into this, higher temps are supposedly meant to = more girls conceived anyway.
