Just wondering if it matters what kind of prenatal you take? I have been buying the cheapie ones recently, and I take a Fish Oil capsule daily that contains the DHA. But I started thinking about finding a food-based prenatal and taking that, however I looked into the price and they are not cheap! If that's what's best for my fertility and a future embryo I am certainly willing to invest in it, but being on a teacher's salary I don't want to waste the money on it if it really isn't needed. Thanks!

I think any prenatal will do. I'd stay away from any of the ones with herbs in them just to be safe. I took the women's one a day prenatal with DS1 along with a separate DHA pill.

I personally prefer the One A Day ones for that very reason. They have everything in them that you need and at the same time it's all 100% and not a megadose of anything other than D (which is good)
I do NOT NOT NOT believe that the fancy schmancy ones are necessary or best. Some of them have megadoses of nutrient in them that we don't even know if they are safe, can really mess up your menstrual cycle, and additionally will have herbs and other questionable ingredients in them (such as minerals we may not even need to take)

They're ok, you'd still need extra D
