I am 5 weeks and I have been having the worst cramps! No bleeding but bad aches in my lower back and lower tummy. I didn't cramp like this with my boys is this normal?? I remember cramping like crazy before my miscarriage so I'm so worried right now. Any info would be greatly appreciated thanks!

It sounds normal to me. I had cramping with all three of my boys. It's from the uterus stretching/growing which can cause some cramping.

This is my 4th and this is the first I remember feeling cramping early on, freaked me out too but its apparently pretty normal. I'm 12 weeks now things are going still smooth.

For what it's worth, I had AWFUL cramps at 5 to 6 weeks with my DD. Like thought I was miscarrying, called the nurse.

It was gas! Your body has a a rough time adjusting intestinally during those early weeks, and progesterone reaaally increases gas while your digestive system slows down and can't release it as easily.

Full disclosure, I had eaten like a bag of spinach too. DON'T do that.

I had that with a couple of my pregnancies. It's really shocking when it happens but it's just one of those weird things.

No it was about 2 weeks with one and a little less with another one. Really awful!
