Hello :-)
Just about to begin our girl sway adventure! And wondered what OPK’s people suggested we’re best to use? I charted before I had my son as had irregular cycles and I used cheapies once and then switched to digitals as I felt they were easier to read but are so expensive! What does everyone else use?
Thanks

Hi :)
i used the clearblue digital ones but i agree they arent cheap!! all i would say is avoid the clear blue ones that give you flashing smiley's on your peak days then solid smiley's when it turns positive, ive seen SO many people on here have weeks and weeks of flashing smileys and its driven them insane!!
the clearblue ones i used had either a blank circle or a solid smiley face, no flashing!! i did try the cheap strip tests at the start but found them kind of hard to read, im sorry i cant suggest more/cheaper brands im sure others will answer soon for you :)
Good luck with your sway :D

Thanks you so much for the reply! Yes I used to ones with flashing smilies, and remember reading that people had that issue. So if I use the ones that don’t flash would we DTD as soon as I got the first smiley face?

I highly recommend the Clinical Guard OPK + pregnancy test sets on Amazon. I promise they're not that hard to read. When it's positive, it's POSITIVE. The test line will be so dark as soon as your pee crosses it. Wondfo is okay too, but their pregnancy tests were giving me evaps so if you go with them just get the OPKs and not the pee tests. I know they were evaps for sure because I was breastfeeding at the time and never got a cycle after the faint lines, so it couldn't have been a chemical.

I have used both... internet cheapies and cb digitals when ttc my sons. What i found better was buying the strips but with a lower sensitivity, like 40miu instead of the 20miu ones, because that way you don't get so many "nearly positive" opk results.
If money is not a problem maybe the easiest is going with the cb digitals with the solid face (pink ones, not purple).

you can also skip OPK and do every 4 days if that works better for you
