Hello ladies! This is my first month taking this type of OPKS because I didn't like the CBD last month. I took at least twice a day. Both of the ones that look the darkest to me were FMU but all of them are at least 4 hour holds. There is no rhyme or rhythm to the results so I was wondering where you think I had my positive? Thanks!

OPKs should be taken in the afternoon when LH peaks, not in the AM. FMU may be too concentrated and give you a false positive anyway.

I can't say without the pics obviously BUT I do want to stress that when in doubt, BD. You can get pregnant with an attempt on the early side but not too late so don't wait and wait for positives that never come.

Thank you!
I took them at least twice a day. Never a clear positive with FMU until cycle day 17. I ran out after FMU and had to wait until Friday (cycle day 18) for my new batch to arrive in the mail. Is it true I'd get a false positive if all the others days I tested with FMU also were not positive at all? Cycle day 17 and cycle day 19 had the darkest lines with FMU. We've had good attempts around then so I'm happy with that just not totally sure I know when I actually got "the" positive.
Also, I had the big O for all of my attempts (e4d) Will this mess with my odds?! DH also needs to end from behind but we made sure to have a shallow release. Hoping it's ok.

Yeah, sadly you can still get a false positive. OPK suck, I SO wish we had anything better at all. But I do agree that was most likely your positive. The good news is as long as you have attempts you don't even need to know when the positive came.
We don't know if the O matters or not. I wouldn't worry about it.
I don't want you guys doing shallow release any more. I have reason to believe it REALLY cuts odds of conception considerably (and can explain if you want) and it's never been proven to sway anyway.
