Yesterday I had what I thought was a pos opk
38003
so we dtd last night but this morning I tested again and it's darker
38004
Did I mess my attempt up by doing it too soon? If I attempted again today it would be too many for girl right?

Just realised you can't tell much by the pics but the line is definitely darker today!

You want to have your attempt at the FIRST positive opk not the darkest. If you wait until it is the darkest, most often you miss the window. It takes sperm 6-10 hours to be able to capacitate to fertilize the egg. Waiting until you get the darkest opk may mean you miss the egg entirely. Unless you know you have a delayed LH surge, what you did is perfectly fine!
🤞🏻for you!

What XX said. You should ovulate within a day or two (probably today or tomorrow) so you made the right decision! Good luck!!

Thanks again, I get so confused making sure it's dark enough to be a positive but I'm glad I attempted when I did and excited to be in my first ever tww!

But it's better to be in with attempt too soon than too late. Don't get so hung up on the darkness that you don't have attempt!
