Does the amount of sex that you have after your period ends up to when your fertile window starts matter? I've seen somewhere (I don't remember where I read it) to have sex every day from the time your period ends up until 2-4 day before ovulation, but then that'd be more then once in the fertile window.
Or should it be every day up until your fertile window, with only one attempt in the fertile window 2-4 days before ovulation?

Thanks in advance!:)

We speculate that it may because potentially exposure to hormones in your husband's semen may sway blue. (this does NOT mean that blue swayers should now BD every day! nonononono)

I cannot EVER EVER EVER recommend that method to sway pink OR blue and I have an explanation for that here (not the first post but a few down the page) https://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/58359-what-up-bd-thru-o-pink-lately.html

I just read the post that you linked and I'm honestly thinking that's why it took over a year to conceive my son!

SHETTLES DEBUNKED!? Haha

Atomic, would you recommend or think that BDing 24-36 hours before ovulation would be better, or BDing 2-3 days before ovulation, has that ever made a difference?

You have read this one, right?? https://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/7691-trouble-timing.html

Are you asking me for swaying or trying to conceive?

Shettles DOES NOT WORK. Period, end of story. The day you BD on does not affect your baby's gender.

One attempt may, sperm numbers may, CM may, but the day and day alone doesn't work.

Thank you for linking that, it was a great read and made a lot of sense and answered my question and then some!

I was wondering, I went a few posts down and saw about stress potentially raising testosterone and swaying blue? Is this true? I've been trying to not be so control freaky on this sway but I have been stressing over it, as I'm an anxious person to begin with and tend to have "control freak" tendencies. (Although I have been making strides to curb that) I do still find myself stressing as it's a lot of info to take in. Would you say that's a huge boy variable?

It's not "stress" per se but that control freak, detail oriented stress. Please don't start stressing over stress, it is normal to feel anxious about a sway. Stressing from trying to control stress is WORSE than nothing.

Thank you atomic, I honestly think the only reason I've been stressing is because for some reason I seem to have no self control. I'm still losing weight and am almost mostly sticking within limits. But I find myself having candy/ice cream and pasta more then I should be (especially being on the PCOS LE diet) I usually have no issues with self control, I dieted prior to trying to sway for 7 months with no slip ups. I fell off track after a stressful period in life and then started to sway. I've been losing weight regardless but I still slip up more then I like to admit. Although I know those cheats are over and I should just move on, I can't help but feel like it wasn't good enough. If I were to just wipe my slate clean and have a fresh start on my diet would 8 weeks be enough? With cheats only on Holidays?

If you are mostly sticking within the limits then I'd think you're doing it right. Cheats are ok, they don't need to be "over" plus there aren't magic foods so if you are there or there abouts most days then I'd think you were well on your way. From what I've read the looser pink sways tend to be more successful anyway. If you can try relaxing a little and embracing your girl mum personality. Sending you all my pink dust.

Thank you, I really appreciate your response! It's so hard knowing the outcome you want but feel like your constantly failing on your journey if that makes sense. I had a cheat day last Wednesday for my husbands birthday. Did good Thursday and Friday, then sat, sonday and Monday totally ate boy worthy :/! I'm so hoping this sway works out and thank you so much, I'll be sending you all my blue dust! Best of luck to you :)

Just do what you can do. Don't worry about what has happened, just pick it up and move forward.

Just start from here with a fresh slate and don't worry about anytime when you have messed up.
