I am rethinking my diet but I need to know a few things from the girl moms...

What you ate/drank during the day? What amount? What times you ate?

Amount of exercise or activity in a day?

Any vita/supps/pills you took (not swaying)?

Any creams/gels/medicines you used during the time your kids were conceived?

I'll sticky this for a bit to give people a chance to respond.

2 q's that I am curious about:

Did you or DH smoke regular or "special" cigarettes?

What was your weight (ballpark) and had you just gained or lost any weight??

I did not eat fried food.

I ate craisins almost everyday.

I drank pink lemonade crystal light and if I had soda, I drank Sprite.

I would order water with lemon when out to eat and put a packet of sweet n low in it to make a poor man's lemonade.

I would sometimes have chocolate Instant Breakfast for breakfast on the way to work(dry mix you pour into milk- 2% at my house)

For lunch- microwave meal- sometimes fish but low fat for sure.

I ate popcorn at night all the time- with salt and butter...not an ice cream fan.

Coffee in morning- no sugar, cream.

I played tennis when TTC DD1 but I was not going to a gym or working out on a regular basis- I am naturally thin.

Did not eat a lot of sauces- ketchup, etc on things before having kids. Now I do!

Did not drink a lot of anything during the day.

I prefer red meat over chicken- love a filet.

I snacked often throughout the day and still do but I did not eat a lot of calories at all.

Hubby hasn't smoked in 7years, by threat of his mom, but he did use special cigs with his brother 6mths ago on a camping trip. I lost some weight awhile ago but not lately currently 160 but I was 125-140 when the boys where conceived. I am going to push weight lose this time.

I did not diet. Anything in moderation. I was thin but just lucky because of genetics.

My DH never smoked cigarettes and gave up the social pot in college before I met him. I know of one man that smoked daily and he had 4 DDs.

So about how many cals? Did you space your eating out? I am thinking maybe do a 1500-1800cals a day but maybe eating every 2-3hrs.

Did you have a dairy?

I am going to give up the diet caff-free soda but may have 1cp of CL twice a day. I need to drink a lot of water so I will push more water. I drink 2cp of coffee but I am going to only use 1 pack of splenda each cup.

Not much dairy, no. Nutragrain bats for breakfast sometimes- like the baked ones with Strawberry in them. Do not eat yogurt. Love bread and butter- white bread with dinner, like a roll. Ate balsamic dressing on salads or oil and red wine vinegar.

I guess I ate a lot of carbs!

I was on a diet for my endometriosis. I always lost weight on it. No dairy, no red meat, no "junk" food, lots of fruit/veggies, gluten-free grains, nuts/seeds, beans/legumes, used maple syrup or stevia for a sweetener. Occasionally had organic chicken or fish. Always had breakfast and snacks. Drank mostly water, rice milk, sometimes peppermint tea. Took coconut oil, EPO and a prenatal vitamin, DHA. Walked or jogged almost daily for DD1 & DD2. Not much exercise for DD3 or the daughter I'm currently pregnant with. HTH!

I should add, neither myself nor DH currently smokes (although we both did in our teens).

I'm convinced the reason I conceived DD1 was my addiction to Grilled Cheese sandwiches and pickles and chocolate milk. I was so busy with work that I almost never ate and snacked mostly.

DD2 however was bananas, breakfast, supplements and swaying with timing. I'm pretty sure I know what screwed up the sway but if it gives any boy moms hope, it's that you can concieve a girl while swaying for a boy.

I think fast food is not best for the good health. We just eat home food that is the good for the health. So we must avoid to eating fast food for better fitness.

Not much protein at all really. Loved chocolate and lollies. Cereal for breakfast (nutrigrain mostly) or toast. Bread for lunch or other carbs. Lots of carbs all day really. Not that much veg or fruit...little to no red meat. I drank HEAPS of diet coke!! Hardly any exercise at all.
