Flava watch out for those smiley's cause i never got a smiley the day before O on O or even two days after O & im pregnant, so i dont believe in them anymore, just go by your instinct & know when you think your suppose to O.
I always get smileys but I also use a CB monitor and it's on low. Only Im out of tests so now I will not know when was peak day.

I jumped and dumped the 1st batch, douched with lime, dtd again and added lime solution and a lime tampon and went to bed. Probably killed off all of the sperm but like I said, I am a wreckless sex junky...with DH only of course. LOL

Flava, sometimes our bodies don't always do the same say in day out, look at me this cycle ovulated days sooner and went from low to peak when I would usually have had a high.

5, hope you get some answers tomorrow. They will probably do a blood test you know and most likely a Beta HCG if they do. I have an appointment with my doctor on Wednesday and he always does blood tests to see where my hormones are at. So I know he will add a preg test on as well :) I'll be 9dpo then as well so hopefully by then it will show up in blood.

Ah lemon 2012 I forgot, there wasn´t a lot of girl swaying involved in my timing and frequency lol I guess that´s why I got a bfp this time. I don´t believe in timing and wanted to get pregnant while still on the LE diet so we Bd on CD 10 and 13 and I OV-ed on CD 14. It has taken some months and at this point I just wanted to get pregnant knowing I did a lot (but not all I could have) different from when I conceived my sons and that was enough for me, embracing the idea of another boy too.
I see a lot of people having girls closer to o than a cut off. I am so confused and not show what to do! I just want to get pregnant but everytime I think about giving up and just dtd I panic and think it will be a boy. Then I would not feel good about my choice. I just feel a lot of pressure!
When you say it has taken a lot of months...what was your attempt plans before? Did you consider frequent bding?
My kids are 5 and 3....they would be so excited for a sibling!
What else did you do that was different from your first two kids?

Flava - How much b6 are you taking? My OB has me on 400mg because my LP has been 9-10 days and also if B6 doesn't work then I may never get prego because I can't take fertility drugs. He said that some people do good on 100mg and some may need 200mg but 300-400mg is best for LPs that are 10 days or less. But since you are already about to O it can also make you O right away (within 24hrs). But the good news is in most people it can help your LP after a day or so.

I tested today and BFN for me as well. I am 9DPO and I guess I am not out yet but can't help feeling this month is not going to end with a baby!

With DS2, I got a BFN 3 days before AF was due then a BFP the day before so will try to hold out till Wednesday to test again!

I hate a short luteal phase, it just adds another layer of complication to swaying and making babies!

I think Atomic said 100mg so maybe you could try 50mg in the morning and again in the evening. I have seen most MD site say 300mg is ok but 100-200mg works for most people.

Well I kind of don't want to symptom spot for fear of jinxing myself... but the last few days I have been craving Cadbury MightyNana and marshmallow santas chocolates: the ones in the Kmart Xmas stockings... I found a thing online before DS2 that said some women can start to see signs of Oing (high temps and high cervix) up to 24 hrs before they O... I noticed recently a few times when my cervix stayed high for about 20hrs. When it finally went down a lot of cm came out. (those were the mths I had prego symptoms but LP was short) I asked my midwife friend about it and she said that sometimes the body will "plug" it's self with cm or even cist to keep the egg in and force it to attach.

When I was 6wks along with DS1, before I knew about him, I had some really bad cramps and went to the Dr. They did an u/s and found a 6wk baby and 1 orange sized cist. They believed the pain was from the one cist popping and the other one getting ready to pop since they were no longer needed... I am not a drinker but I did have a some red wine before we DTD.

One of my sisters was the baby for 10 years and the other is 15 and the baby... both of them spend money as soon as they get it. I tried to get one of them to watch her money because she make a lot doing hair but she spends most on clothing and forgets to pay her car, bills, college loan, and rent.

Studies done on family order says... first borns are great at their careers, middles tend to be quiet, and youngest tends to be spontanius (?spelling) and quick to spend on silly things.

But teaching all your kids while they are young about money, paying bills, and saving for something special will help them in adulthood. I learned by watching my silly mother. She spent her paycheck on the way home from the bank. We moved a lot, starved while she ate out, and now she lives in a camper in the middle of nowhere because she hasn't worked in 10 years and is to young for SS or her 10,000 a year military retirement.

At 5 my kid start to get chores and small amounts of money (.25 a day), they will learn to save the quaters for whatever. As they get older and get more chores they get more money. When they are teens they get the financial lectures and also the sex talk... example... give them a fake job with income. Give them a family (spouse and kid or two). Have them find a place to live, in the newspaper. They have to go to the stores and price furniture they need or feel they need (the stores make them focus and work harder then the internet). A car, college loans, or whatever you can think of. Make up surprise bills like "congrats you have a new baby". Make it seem real and even include them in your own income and bills. I already have a list of things for when my kids have to do this.

My IL's did this for my hubby when he was young and he counts every penny. We have no debt. We have credit cards but they are used just because we felt like it and then they are paid off right away.

We're in the same boat. I should O in about a week and if I don't get a BFP this round I think December will be my last month of trying. But I have positive thoughts for you!

8dpo... and I know I am not prego! LOL but I did have an odd dream. My cat was peeing all over the house and I was following it with the carpet cleaner trying to clean it up before the boys stepped in it. I hate those kinds of dreams! I think I dreamt it because I have started cleaning the spots where my dog liked to lay. They were not bad but it has been 6wks since I cleaned the carpet last. Can't wait for Christmas because I get a new carpet cleaner, I like to clean fabric furniture and the carpet every 1-2mths so my 10 year old machine is falling apart.

I hope next month I can dream about my baby!

8dpo... and I know I am not prego! LOL but I did have an odd dream. My cat was peeing all over the house and I was following it with the carpet cleaner trying to clean it up before the boys stepped in it. I hate those kinds of dreams! I think I dreamt it because I have started cleaning the spots where my dog liked to lay. They were not bad but it has been 6wks since I cleaned the carpet last. Can't wait for Christmas because I get a new carpet cleaner, I like to clean fabric furniture and the carpet every 1-2mths so my 10 year old machine is falling apart.

I hope next month I can dream about my baby!

I think you read to much into dreams... so do I. Trust me I ran straight for my books and notes and dream journal. And if you look at the members area you will see that I know a lot about dreams. I know when my are real or just from stress.

But then again I have be cleaning carpets recently because... before my dog passed she has a lot of accidents. I did spot cleaning but I finally had the heart to clean everything including the spots where my dog would rest while watching the kids play.

Hi girls,

I am now super confused.... I am 14 DPO and still no AF! AF was due 2/3 days ago and I keep getting negative HPTs and I just don't know what to think.... I have no idea when my tests went positive with DS1 as he was a surprise so didn't test till I was about a week late and the test with DS2 showed positive the day before I was due.

I have never been late my whole life unless I am pregnant and I do have backache and cramping. I keep thinking every time I go to the loo that AF will have showed up but she hasn't. I have had a bit of brown discharge (sorry tmi) but that is it.

I had low hcg levels with my first son and I went straight for a blood test with my second. I just found out I'm pregnant I poas at 17 dpo (my first test) I was too paranoid to check sooner. I was surprised but not as excited as I thought. I think I'm too nervous. As you know in the UK we can't just book ourselves in for a blood test (no doubt your doctor would just say wait and test again in a few days at this point!) so unfortunately it's a waiting game. I have been getting a line since 9 dpo (very very faint).. but it has continued to get darker. So I thought today I would take a digital test as a treat that my twin sister gave me. Guess what!! It said NO... :( I am 13 dpo. I immediately took a cheapie and it looks positive...
I opened the test to look at the lines inside. Both lines are super dark. However I read online that you can not read a digital test with your eyes???
What to do? A blood test would cost us $250.00.... Am I pregnant or not?! :(

eta: waiting probably is the best bet and try again... but ... OY... that seems not so fun right now.

Oh and on a side note, my twin sister finds out the gender of her baby today! She has three boys.

Thanks for your replies girls, as Zan says, we can't book ourselves in for blood tests here, they will make me wait at least another week before they even contemplate that!!

I have been using the superdrug tests so am pretty sure I am not pregnant, but I just want AF to hurry up and show so I can start planning next month! The only explanation I can come up with is that I didn't ovulate when I thought I did. I had a nasty filthy cold last month and am starting to think the :) I got was a fake one and if I'd have carried on testing, there may have been another :) when I really ovulated a couple of days later.

HH, sorry for the confusion, hope all sorts itself out soon. Try not to worry about the digital test, they are definately not as sensitive as some.. FX for you.

Just wanted to let everyone know... AF is due on the 23rd, woohoo can't wait. I will be away tomorrow evening until sunday but I will try to check postings today and tomorrow but not sure about timing. Flava - the Low Everything diet was what made the weight melt off me. I lost 20 lbs in less than 2 months on the diet! (of course I gained 13 of that back in the 3 months I was pregnant...)

It's just pretty much the opposite of the boy diet - low nutrient, low protein, low calorie, low sodium.

Max 40g protein per day
Max 700-100mg of sodium per day
1500-1800 calories per day

Eat simple carbs (white rice, regular pasta, etc) over complex carbs.

I'm sure you could modify it to make it a bit healthier and less bland and still lose the weight - the calorie restrictions are likely the biggest factor.

Well I saw a new baby boy in the store yesterday and almost cried...It's very sad I will never have one...but can't keep up trying forever...Im 37 here...must move on at one point...
I wish we have a weight loss thread here so I can hang out and also have friends to loose weight together...
I stay for a while want to see all the cute baby. (if I can..hope I don't get to sad seeing all the new babys...)

Awww Flava I'm just popping in and trying to catch up; sorry to hear of the BFN and the sadness attached to no longer TTC. I know you'll enjoy your girls and I'm so glad you have them! Maybe you could start a weight loss support thread? Even if there aren't a bunch of moms right NOW looking to lose, there are so many due to give birth in the next 2-3 months that I bet you'll get a crowd on there in no time!

I'm here in the lovely 2WW...I am 2 dpo today and I can't believe we actually did it! Our boys were opps so this planning thing is killing me...hahah! I was so blissfully oblivious with my sons!

can't wait until next weds when I'll be 10 dpo and I'll start testing then....I've never tested early before so I have no idea how quickly my body produces hcg to test...my first son I was in complete denial about and didn't test until AF was two weeks late....(I didn't remember us even having sex that month, hah!) the second son I tested a few days late, and was also in denial (hubby pulled out, there's no sperm in that, right?)

So, anyhoo, this is a weird feeling for me, to be waiting to see if AF is gonna show in less than two weeks....
I need to find a new activity to make the time go by faster :)

Thats hysterical..pretty much my story too. Except DS1 I actually thought I had to miss my AF and then tested. next 2 pregnancy's I was like hmmmmm where's AF!!!!

Can't test til at least 10dpo otherwise I might get a false positive due to the hcg from the trigger!

Just had a small blob of CM it's like thick EW not watery, but a bit stretchy and sort of clear.
Had an idea to test the PH of it, cause Dh's sperm is usually 8-9.
The PH was 5 :( I know alot of people have had PH opposites but I was really putting in alot of effort to get my PH up cause I thought thats one thing that could help me.
If I am Oing today would it be too late to drink ural?

I have had an ok day on the diet, I had brekkie straight away and then a bowl of cereal 2hrs later but then I got stuck into the housework and forgot to eat and was starving by 2pm so had 9 seed bread with tomato. 3.30pm had some peanuts then had steak and salad for dinner.

If you have any urals, it won't hurt to take them. IAH, I am not that worried about pH anymore. So much so that I don't even test anymore lol and I was obsessed with pH earlier in the year!!

I don't care about pH any more either. I don't even worry about drinking too much lemon water. My pH was only 6.5 at O, that's the best I could do.

A trigger injection contains hcg which helps mature the follicle/s and then release the egg. I am doing ovulation induction with Clomid as my O is very irregular. The trigger just ensures that the egg is actually released.
