Hello! I have PCOS and took a break after failed clomid cycles ttc #2. I’ve since lost 21lbs, and am now 176lbs! Finally out of the obesity category. I worked closely with my doctor, and she had me on a specific exercise and nutrition plan. Eating less was 2/3 the problem as I already love to exercise. I also got back into running and less barre. I started a new job this month, and we want to pick up ttc #2 again in 6 months. I’m hoping I won’t need metformin as it makes me so sick and doctor pulled me off after a week. Even the extended release. She says I don’t need it.
Anyways, I’ve read that cod liver oil and evening propose oil are great for PCOS I? I still am having irregular cycles, and weak to no ovulation is why I haven’t been able to get pregnant this time. Anyone tried them or have any opinion as to adding them in now?

Hey girl, how are you??
The cod liver oil is fine just watch the dose on the Vit. A and D as you can go overboard with those, and make sure it's the mercury free stuff of course.
The EPO I am torn about. In the end I suspect you still would like to sway blue a little bit and since you've been away I've been axing the EPO because I felt like it was possibly making opposites. Plus, if you want to help with your PCOS I'd put you on myoinositol instead (which actually also may sway pink, but at least it works for PCOS)
EPO can mess up cycles. So since we aren't totally sure why exactly yours are being so disobedient LOL I hesitate to have you try it and would much rather see you on the myoinositol such as Pregnitude instead.

I’ve been great! Thank you for replying too! Busy with my almost 2.5 year old! I’ll look into the pregnitude, as that’s easier for me to remember just the one thing. What about vitamin B50 complex? I have a super short luteal phase, and I’m hoping to take these next 6-7 months to hopefully lengthen it last the 4-6 days I was currently struggling with. And, good ole vitamin X! I bought a peloton!

Are you taking a prenatal or multi already??
I really find that the B complexes, for like 97% of everyone LOL cause way more trouble than they alleviate. People go onto them and end up not only with a short LP but then also a super delayed O and midcycle spotting too. :hair:
I would just ahve you take a multi with 100% of the B's in it already.
But if you want to give it a try, that is a SUPER short LP and right there puts you into a different category than most of the people I work with so I completely understand wanting to see if it helps.
Vit. X is the absolute 100% best thing!

Eep somehow I missed your reply! Happy Thanksgiving! Yes, I’m taking the gummy prenatal. I’m gonna order pregnitude this weekend. I really really want to start trying, and I’ve already busted my ass at this new job proving myself. January makes three months, so that’s when we will try since I have a big trial in February. I wouldn’t want to get pregnant now and have hyperemesis and not be around for trial in February which would be right around 8 weeks/ prime time.
