Hi all..I see JD written so often but am unclear of how it works.

Can someone explain this to me? TTC girl next year and just doing my research...also is it necessary?

I see it as getting up after 5 minutes or less after sex and going to the toilet, hope that's right lol!

The idea is to get up and use the bathroom and wipe off the semen and sperm to lower the odds of conception a bit. That is what makes it pink friendly- the lowering of conception. This should be one of the first tactics that is dropped, if you do it, if you keep getting BFNs after a few months of TTCing.

Either use the bathroom right away, or wait 5-10min first. You don’t have to elevate your hips unless you want to! Remember, if you don’t get a BFP for a few months, then this is one of the first things to drop!
