Hi,

When drinking Cranberry Juice is it better to take Cranberry Supplements too?

Thanks.

If you do to much of anything at the same time it can affect you.... If you are only doing juice once a day and pills ___ a day then try to balance it out.

I take my supps and pills at 8am and 8pm... most pills are only one a day. I am going to take a lot of cranberry but it works out to 4 pills a day. I also spread out my drinks to keep my ph good all day.

I have been trying baby aspirin instead of cranberry. It seems to lower my pH just as well and it's so much cheaper plus you aren't getting all those nutrients in cranberry that sway blue. Also, baby aspirin helps with implantation whereas I have heard there is a risk of miscarriage if cranberry is taken in the 2WW. Just my two cents.

I am still BF, so can't use Baby Aspirin. I think I'll stick with just the juice for that reason as I don't want to overdo it.

Anyone?

Sorry I can't always get back to answer q's as quickly as I would like but I promise I will answer every Q in time.

Like the PP mentioned, I prefer baby aspirin to cran supps because they are lower in nutrition. Cran juice really isn't helpful for swaying - it's like the worst of both worlds, it's not strong enough to lower pH like aspirin and cran supps do, and it adds nutrients that you don't need for your sway.

If you do want to drink it, be sure it's the 100% cran juice (and it tastes yuk so you might want to cut it half and half with seltzer water or Perrier - NOT club soda) or else the "lite" cran juice that is sweetened with aspartame. The "cocktails" contain juices that will sway blue, rather than pink.

If you're breastfeeding, you shouldn't take the cran supps anyway.
